“This may be the weirdest review ever but here goes. I have never actually eaten here but was stationed at Aberdeen PG in 1970-71. Really enjoyed Maryland for the most part and growing up in Mississippi I was exposed to several dishes that we had never heard of at the time in the Deep South. Submarine sandwiches believe it or not were one. We had Po Boys which were similar but not exactly the same thing. Also grew to love fried clams which no one here at the time ever ate. Of course we had oysters from the gulf and plenty of blue crab but the steamed crab Maryland style was superior to our boiled crab. By the way Marylanders, many of the crabs y'all are now eating come from the gulf not Chesapeake Bay. A friend of mine who is a crabber on Lake Pontchartrain sells all of his #1 crabs for export to Maryland as he makes twice as much than selling the locally . Anyway, I do wish I could make another trip to the area and see what is new the last 50 years. From the looks on yelp, a lot. I am a foodie though and have learned to read between the lines on Yelp reviews and based on that, I would definitely give this place a try. It looks great and I feel sure it is. Bon appetite!”
“We once again visited the GRT as it is one of the best music venues around (it’s all about the music!) I had the mushroom soup and it was one of the best mushroom soups I have had. Hints of white wine, Parmesan cheese and lots of mushrooms! Thanks all Chuck and Karen”
“Great little place for coffee and breakfast. Was in town for vacation and stopped by, coffee was fresh and the food was superb. Will visit again when we come back.”
“Best canolis EVER - you won't find them like this anywhere! The white pizza = delicious! The salads were fresh, while the mozzarella sticks, curly fries, and pasta were piping hot. Portions are very generous, service is excellent, and the family atmosphere make this a fantastic place to have great food in a relaxed setting.”
“I had a craving for a BLT and stopped by to grab one to go. This sandwich has the good fats (avocado) and bad fats (crispy bacon and not bad at all), crisp lettuce and fresh tomatoes. The bread was perfectly toasted and I got it with fries (also delicious).”
“Fun place, bottomless mimosas were delicious and the service was great. Enjoyed the live music! We went for Sunday brunch in the winter but this would be a great spot in the summer with the water view and huge outdoor space.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu”
“Food is great, they are able to make the sandwiches without it being soggy or dry. I got the Earl’s club and the chipotle chicken. Great flavor and soft bread. I would rate this 6 stars if it was possible.”
“Basic Dunkin in the GWL. The prices are little steep compared to a normal Dunkin. It you are doing a big order than take the trip to the offsite Dunkin. It is across the arcade so it can be loud. We grabbed our drink took it to our room for peace and quiet.”
“Good food, service, and an overall nice place. We have Peet's in the stores in California, but don't have a store. At least on by us that I know of. It was really nice.”
“Great food. Great staff. Comfortable atmosphere. Great place to hang out with friends.Wheelchair accessibility: The only complaint I have is that it is not handicap accessible so I could not bring my father there for a meal. He would love this place!”
“I had a few extra minutes to kill between estimates today and decided to try this place out. It's really big on the inside and had plenty of room for everyone. I didn't have any coffee but the sausage egg and cheese on a plain bagel hit the spot. From the crisp outside to the hot middle it was great. Nothing worse than getting a hard or tough bagel. Just like a good cheesesteak, the bread is key. I will definitely be back anytime I'm in Rising Sun.”
“You think your pizza making skills are pretty good or you got some good local joints and you’re completely happy with your pizza life. Then you get a pie from Ercole’s and you remember what real NY pizza tastes like. You feel bliss but then overwhelming sadness that there is no Ercole’s by you. If you’re in a 20 minute radius, I have no idea why you’re eating anywhere else.”
“Though the black forest frappe was amazing the true star was the small cup of black coffee that tasted amazing thoughout the entire trip back home and even cold for a few hours afterwards... The service seemed pretty good too.”
“I order dinner here all the time and it’s always so delicious and fresh! Food comes out hot and ready, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the workers are extremely friendly. I love their club sandwiches and you can never go wrong with their pizza!”
“This a great local coffee shop/ bakery located right in Aberdeen. The doughnuts are delicious and the coffee is great. Say Delicious is a great place to get your daily coffee or a place to treat yourself to a delicious Doughnut, muffin, or cookie. The staff is very friendly and personable. Highly recommend this place.”
“Great place to come and hang out for whatever occasion. They have a nice selection of beer and the staff was awesome. I was there near Halloween time, so they had a bunch of folks dressed up in costumes; which reminds me, I got a bone to pick with the grandpa guy who kept blocking my walking path, lol. This is a definitely a place I will visit next time I am in town.”
“My girlfriend and I have been meeting here, traveling from DC and Philadelphia, for over 8 years and the food is always amazing and the staff is lovely. We're so very happy you survived covid! Thank you for your hospitality and amazing cuisine!!”
“Absolutely the best brunch! Crabcakes, carving stations, omelet stations, mimosas, Bloody Mary I can go on. Chef Jeff, sous chef Trey and staff do an amazing spread. Owners are always visible and really make sure everyone is taken careAlways A+ at The Wellwood a hidden gem in ”
“This is by far the best Golden Corral i have ever been to...it models the Grand Opening theme everyday. In other words businesses show a grand display when they first open...then lose it. I would give them ten stars if i could. Thank you.”
“We recently used 5th company brewing for my sister’s surprise 30th. I was beyond satisfied. On a budget, chef Brandon put together some wonderful trays of finger foods. Lexi who helped us reserve the venue, was an absolute sweetheart, she was very on top of things and was very responsive during the planning. Bartenders were very attentive, no long wait. We ordered food from the kitchen, it came out quick and everything was delicious. If you are looking for a good venue or just a place to go hang out/eat, 5th company is your place! Thank you all so so much for your hospitality. We will be back & hopefully for some more events!”
“My wife, grandson and I just tried Chicken Rico for the first time, amazing food. The chicken, rice and plantains were superb. The service and people behind the counter were very helpful as well as pleasant to deal with. We will definitely return to try other items from this establishment.Chicken Rico gets the highest of ratings from us.Kid-friendliness: Our grandson loved this place.”
“Bomboys Ice Cream is a cool spot on a nice day. It's close to the main area in Havre De Grace and the promenade. They usually have a nice amount of ice cream flavors and offer Italian ice as well. My family and I have been multiple times and will continue to go back.”
“This is one of our favorite restaurants to go to. The shrimp and grits are out of this world! We had it as an appetizer this time along with fried pork belly, which was equally tasty. Our entrees were red beans and rice with shrimp added, and the jambalaya with chicken added. Everything was so flavorful. Large portions as well, had to get to go boxes!”
“Wow, hardly know where to start. Fantastic Greek food, for one. We had a lamb gyro- REAL LAMB, never get that anywhere. Best one I had my whole life. Greek salad, perfect, lovely dressing. Owner gave me home made soup tastes while I waited and wished I could have ordered it but was staying at a hotel, we would have made a mess of it. There are a few tables if you want to eat in, but if you are staying at a nearby hotel, well, most have dining breakfast areas to set up a great meal. Lovely people, great food, not a chain, the real deal. Can't say enough good things.”
“Stopped here for first time with my wife and aunt. We got fish and chips, cheese steak, wings, and cream of crab soup. We enjoyed every item and had to carry stuff home. Our waitress was both friendly and helpful. We will stop here again. Only bad thing, Ravens lost.”
“This is the best German food I have ever had. We drove 1.5 hours from PA to try this place and it was well worth it. The best sauerkraut hands down! And my family was fighting over the pig wings they were so good. Highly recommend. Staff was great to. Super friendly and awesome service. Just don't get the dessert. I mean, the desserts were great but at 9$ a slice, it was not worth that. The picture shows the German sausage sampler. 6 different sausages. They all tasted spectacular. My daughter and I shared that plate. That plate also has the sauerkraut and German potato salad. We got a side of red cabbages as well. All five of us in the family loved all 3 of those sides.Parking: Parking right next to the building.”
“Hidden gem. Best creamy homemade icecream and prices reasonable with large servings (one scoop plenty for most adults..even children's scoop!) and THE BEST pumpkin icecream! Clean environment and sweetest friendly calves outside, (quickly growing!) and ample outdoor seating. Fun fall corn maze also affordable!”
“The food is so good! The steak fajitas were perfectly seasoned. The birria tacos were bigger than anywhere I have gotten before. The au jus is so well seasoned. The camarones al la crema is perfectly smokey and delicious. My new favorite Mexican restaurant! We waited for about 10 minutes to be sat. Our waiter sat us and did act like he was in a hurry every time he came over to us. The time I came, there were maybe 5 other tables, but there was another server. As we left, we did see him on his phone. The place is clean and at the time quiet. The White Sangria tasted like juice, which was perfect for me. Also, had lots of fruit, which was fruit cocktail. Was still delicious.”
“Breakfast is amazing and served all day.Atmosphere is classic old-school dinner.Nothing wrong just "classic" lots of pics and memorabilia from the area. They do close early for a diner, but if you make it you won't be disappointed. If there looks to be no parking from the main road there is plenty of parking in the back.”
“This place is great! I found it on Yelp because the food options at Great Wolf lodge are so so. This was an easy 7 min drive and we showed up on rib night. A whole rack of ribs and a side for $12.99. (I hope that price stays the same). Since we stay at GWL a lot, we will be coming here more often. (It seems this place gets a lot of traffic from them )”
