Attman's Potomac Deli

Good pastrami sandwich. Decent rye bread but could be improved in the bread department.

Just stopped by for a sandwich, walked in and no one was at the register. Waited a while for someone to come up and ordered. Saw it was $20 for one sandwich, i made a joke “dang $20 is a lot for a sandwich” and the girl told me “i have a line are you going to pay or not” so I walked out. I don’t know what kinda people yall hire but no sandwich is worth $20 and terrible service.

May 2025. Good spot for breakfast in Potomac, MD. There is a deli too but we were just there for breakfast. The Congresional breakfast platter has a bit of everything. Nice big cups for coffee.

Classic deli experience. And the pickle bar is great, our kids love it.

Worst service (not one staff member spoke or understood English). The manager finally took the order. From the time we sat down until we received our food was 35 minutes. The atmosphere was nosey and dirty; more like a NY Subway station. The delicatessen would not pass muster in NY, Baltimore, or Florida...and the prices were sky high for the type of quality presented. Definitely not recommended.

I've lived in Manhattan/DC and would like to think I know a good deli. Attman's never fails to serve a phenomenal meal with good service and a comfortable atmosphere. I usually get their sandwiches, whether it's a double decker w/ pastrami and corned beef, liver, rueben, etc. Attman's sandwich meats are delicious every time with a generous portion. I'm also a fan of their homemade chips and matzo ball soup.

Parking: Located next to several large parking lots; usually easy to find spaces.

I must say this the best pastrami sandwich in the entire state of Maryland my god the pastrami was very moist & soft along with the Swiss cheese & toasted bread... Our server was very helpful with the menu & taking care of us also the biggest upside for me aside from the pastrami sandwich was the pickle bar they had found that to be very cool & unique highly recommend this spot heard about it over the years but I finally came around to trying it & it doesn't disappoint thanks O for tha invite !!!

As good a Jewish style deli as you will find. There's a reason they have been around for over 100 years.

Served me toast that was stale and had mold on it. Manager didn’t come to the table to say anything initially. Comped my check when I complained. Was a regular. Not going back.

Excellent Jewish Deli. Great Reubens, pickles, and smoked fish. The potato chips they serve as a side were also great. Everything our party ordered was top notch and well priced.

Was going to order a few breakfast sandwiches this morning for the fam. Went online to order - $11.79 for a simple bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich !?!?! Robbery! Didn’t order! Folks in NY would be outraged with this!

Great pastrami! All the side you could want and a deli for grab and go meats.

Wish we found this place sooner… had an amazing Reuben. Wife had delicious challah bread French toast and my son had scrambled eggs w lox, onions and matzo. Wow was it an amazing meal! It’s the kind of food that is good for your soul! And I remembered to take a pic of my Reuben before I finished it!!! Oh and those house made potato chips? You can’t eat just a coupe.
