A NYC food critic via a WP host came to the DMV to find the best pastrami sandwich. They found it here. I had it of course and it is really outstanding. Huge deli menu including breakfast. Service was quick and friendly.

Disappointing experience. First we ordered at the counter and then waited 30 minutes in the crowded take-out area. Granted, they were working very hard to serve a large number of people, and they were courteous and seemingly efficient. But I wish they had warned us it would take that long so that would could have walked outside or something. And then, we were surprised with how small the pastrami sandwich was for the price. (It tasted fine.) And my bagel with cream cheese and lox had a reasonable amount of lox but almost no cream cheese on it (see photo; I promise I did not remove any cream cheese, just lifted the lox). The bagel itself didn't have quite the right texture-- it was a bit mushy.

I’ve been coming to Attman’s deli about once every couple weeks on sundays and I’ve always enjoyed the great breakfasts and the server - Gabi has always been a considerate and excellent server.

Stopped by with my wife, son , daughter in law, grandson , daughter and son in law. Yall nailed it, we had 3, regular reubens, (obviously), pastrami club, ham and turkey club. Everything was on point ,pickle bar was delicious, probably the best reuben I've had since I used to make them. Ana was efficient. Big plus was the free underground parking, cause parking around the restaurant sucks.

Service was on point. However if bland was a restaurant theme, this place would get 5 stars. The hash browns tasted like dry dirt, the steak was a brick, and even the eggs tasted weird and came out cold. My son got a scrambler, which was bland as well. Without putting hot sauce on it, it had zero flavor. My wife got a waffle which was also blah.

Our server was great and was apologetic, but for the price this place was pretty shitty.

For a better Jewish deli experience, hit up Lenny’s in Baltimore.

Wow! Another wonderful meal at Attman’s! My family and I usually come in for the Congressional breakfast on weekends and it’s always busy. But no matter how busy it is I have had nothing but fast, efficient service from Sherri, Ana, and Mo. Even at this very busy time these ladies are quick with a smile and make us feel like we’re part of a big family. The cooks are amazing with how fast they get the food prepared. It feels like we just sat down and ordered and before we know it we’ve got an amazing meal placed in front of us. And Glenda cleans up a table quick - she has to be because of how many customers are continuously streaming in. She is a very nice person. I’m so happy we found Attman’s it really is our go-to restaurant. We’ll see you soon, Sherri :)

Overpriced deli sandwiches. They were good but not spectacular. The atmosphere is loud and crowded.

It was our first time coming here. The food was good, but nothing special. However, the service was disappointing. The waitstaff told us to order quickly, and while we were still eating, someone took our food away without even asking and said they were closing and that we had to leave. It felt very rushed and unprofessional.

Had a great experience with Attman’s Potomac Deli. Can't say enough good things about their service, especially Brian S. He went above and beyond!

Great old-fashioned deli near EV chargers and Harris Teeter.
