We had a great NYE experience with the Brooklyn Deli. The entertainments was great, food and service were great and the location of where we were in relation to the ball drop was amazing. If you want to see the ball drop without spending 10+ hours in the freezing cold with no bathrooms, their NYE experience is definitely the way to go.
Great food and very reasonable prices. The staff were excellent and the location is cozy and beautiful. The Satin Dollz show was just awesome!!! We spent a couple of hours of pure comfort and joy here. Highly recommend!
Fabulous welcome and treated wonderfully as it was my husband's birthday. Great to see The Satin Dollz and delicious food, nothing was too much trouble
Someone brought me some big, tasty sandwiches from this deli when I wasn't feeling well. They were amazing! I plan to become a regular customer of this deli and I'm glad I was introduced to it!!

I went here to pick up a sandwich for a client in nearby Potomac Valley Rehab and we were very disappointed...one sandwich was over $13 and nothing fancy ( RB on rye ). Place is disorganized and unattractive and staff (a Sunday at 3pm) had too much trouble with even getting order into register. Would not recommend.

Brooklyn Deli is a hidden gem with great food. Known for its delicious breakfasts, they also have outstanding sandwiches and soups. The Galkin turkey sandwich is my favorite. Matzoh ball soup is always available and delicious. The staff is very nice.
they advertised a comedy night on monday night but when i got there no one new what i was talking about. then the hostess told me to take a seat at a table, i waited there for about 10 min and when I asked about a server coming, she told me i needed to order at the counter. I decided to eat somewhere else, and they didn't serve matzo ball soup but the online menu indicated that they did.

Decided to make a random stop off the freeway and what a wonderful sandwich shop!! We ordered The corn, beef, pastrami, and Swiss omelette and the turkey and Havarti sandwich. Both were excellent… The English muffins appeared to be homemade everything was fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend!

Extremely courteous and efficient wait staff. Fantastic entertainment. Good food at reasonable prices. Very close to all the theaters.

Very honest place and down to earth, not like those fancy ones around the corner with non sense pricing. Appreciate the heritage here, no wonder why it has been open for 15 years. Honesty is rewarded

Nothing special, honeslty. Every time I order from here, I am disappointed. I ordered the Vassos and added cheese and hot peppers - it came out to a little over $20 (no chips or fries included!!) A little pricey for chicken that isn’t properly seasoned and has no sides. The only thing giving it full flavor is the mayo and hot peppers.
I’ve had the breakfast there as well and felt underwhelmed considering it was on the expensive side.
I will say that have fantastic chicken soup, but for the price of the sandwiches and breakfast, the food should definitely taste better and be more filling. I don’t think the breakfast sandwich even came with a side, like most places, which is also odd.
I know the economy is rough right now but for the price, they could do more and make better tasting sandwiches.

I paid a lot of money for a Rueben Sandwich. It was over $20.00 and I left a tip. I took it to go and left. When I took my first bite it tasted great. However, all the other bites were inedible because the Corned beef was fatty and had gristle. I was so mad because I was on a lunch break after work and I live over an hour away. I think it is extremely disappointing to go to a “Deli” and get a crappy sandwich for that kind of money. I would have returned the barely eaten sandwich if I didn’t live so far away.

Place rip off
I'm from NYC, and this is almost like home with it's Pastrami and corn beef sandwiches. And also the Matzaball soup is fantastic. Will spend my money again.
