Over the last month or so, my wife and I ordered the burritos and were extremely disappointed. We found out recently that California tortilla has changed the type of chicken they use in all of their burritos and dishes. They went from white meat chicken breast, to some kind of dark thigh, leg, or whatever the hell else is inside their current chicken. This chicken is the worst looking and tasting that you could possibly serve to anyone. In my opinion, this was all a choice made to save money instead of serving the best quality meet that many other places still currently serve.

Used to be a great go-to place. They remodeled and made it worse and the management is horrible. Very stingy with portions and twice they’ve tried to charge a line item for guacamole when the taco (carnitas verde) comes with guacamole. Not worth the horrible attitude here and the declining atmosphere. They just want to make a buck and give you minimal food with bad attitude. Won’t be coming back. Lots of places in this shopping center that are better options.

My first time visiting this restaurant. And I have to say, I was not impressed at all. Food was bland, but my problem wasn’t with the actual food, but with the employees. I saw no smile, no greeting, and the one employee who took one of my orders was also working the grill at the same time. It was a mess trying to order, I wasn’t even done adding stuff to my burritos and they were already waiting for me at the register.
