They have terrific Mexican soups.The chicken fajita was delicious.Large enough to share with my wife.Service was helpful and friendly .Especially appreciated because my wife and I are both senior citizens.We highly recommend Gringos and Mariachis.The Gringos and Mariachis in Bethesda is just as great

I had a disappointing experience at this location last time I was here. While sitting at the bar, my friend politely asked another guest to move over slightly to make space. That guest appeared unhappy and later spoke with staff. Shortly after, we were asked to leave.
From our perspective, we had not done anything inappropriate, and the situation could have been handled through a simple conversation or de-escalation. Unfortunately, staff did not ask for our side of the story or attempt to resolve the issue in a balanced way. There was also no involvement from a manager or owner at the time, which was disappointing given the circumstances.
As guests who are not white, the way the situation was handled left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Whether intentional or not, the response felt biased and dismissive, and it raised concerns about how different patrons may be treated. I believe this establishment would benefit from improved communication, cultural awareness, and management involvement when conflicts arise.
This review reflects my personal experience, but I hope it encourages the business to reflect on how situations like this are handled in the future.

We'll prepared fajita omelet with added shrimp, lotsof veggies and great seasoning, tasted great! Fantastic Margaritas. Not very expensive considering how much restaurant prices have increased in the past year!

We held an office event recently at G&M, and they were amazing! Food and service were great, and mostly, they just really took good care of us. We’ve also previously used them for catering and everything has always been great! Highly recommend for a large party event!

Great happy hour atmosphere- HOWEVER the food is blah literally zero..Z-E-R-O flavor. They give you chips with salsa and there is not an ounce of taste its just a wet substance, im not sure if even salt and pepper is used. The tacos too plain meat in a greasy taco with another wet substance to dip into. When i say no flavor it was as if i had covid with a loss of taste or no tastebuds....as i could not taste ONE SINGLE flavor . Its a hard pass for me, id never go back

I went to Gringos & Mariachis with a couple of friends, and we had such an amazing time! The food was incredible, and even our out-of-town friends couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was. The service was great too — super friendly and on top of everything.
The cocktails were fantastic, and my favorite dishes were the birria tacos, queso fundido, and the street corn. We started with chips, salsa trio, and guacamole, and for dessert the churros and tres leches were the perfect finish.
Highly recommend this spot for a fun night out or a small group gathering. The atmosphere, food, and drinks are all top-notch. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Every time I go here it is a great experience! The food is epic ! The staff members are awesome , and the vibe is very cool!
Everything is about half size. Changed from 2 to a 4. Food is good but portions are small. Somethings better than others, chicken tacos, good but not with it. Burrito was really good... Not sure if we will do it again.

A little too heavy on the gringo. I was excited abt this place & I didn’t leave satisfied. Lacked flavor and the chips were so thick. The churros were awful. Unnecessary amount of nuts on the tres leches. Tacos were underwhelming.

I just got my order from Uber Eats 4 Coca Colas, 4 coconut flans and 2 tres leches, and I am SO DISAPPOINTED because one of the tres leches is fresh and soft like they made it today and the other one is hard as a rock, dry and old like they made it one moth ago. How can you send that to your clients?? Just because your clients didn’t show up at the restaurant it doesn’t mean you are going to send something that you wouldn’t even eat. And this is not the first time I am experiencing this because I ordered before also tres leches and it wasn’t fresh. Poor quality kitchen management.
