Have been to other Founding Farmers locations in the DC area and was frankly disappointed by this one. We were never advised of the price of the catch of the day - $55!!- and the founding farmer salad - presumably should be one of their best - was bland and a strange blend of textures. The outdoor location near a parking lot of 270 also leaves a lot to be desired.

We have been to Founding Farmers many times. Previously, our dining experiences met our expectations. Our experience last night may have been an anomaly as it wasn't our best experience. Our drink order took much longer than expected. Our server was very nice but it seemed like we were being rushed. The dinner entrees came before we were able to finish our appetizers, which I feel is inappropriate service.

Our experience was good overall. We sat outside and I'd say that our table was a bit ‘dusty' etc. Our server was nice, but over explained the dishes we ordered. I appreciate his effort, but was a bit much. Our wait times for water, drinks, appetizer, main were acceptable, but to get our check and pay took a long time—- our waiter may have been a bit stretched in his section. We understand how that can happen. Overall, I recommend this restaurant, but I would sit...
