Dear Diary - I failed to write a proper review of this establishment location, so here it is. Recently went to the location at Montgomery Mall and the food experience was disappointing. I needed redemption! The food quality, service, and even management walking around, asking if things were OK; I believe they even turned down the AC/air flow because a person was a bit chilly - everything was excellent. Their burgers were cooked and flavored perfectly. Their fries were crispy. Nothing about the food we had was overly salted. Everything was nicely done. If you need good quality burger at shake shack in the area, go to this standalone location, you will not be disappointed.
Shake Shack Cabin John is my new favorite burger joint! The ShackBurger was absolutely delicious and the shakes were thick and creamy. The outdoor seating area had a nice atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a burger on a sunny day.

1st time ever being at a shake shack. I got a shroom burger and a cookies and cream milkshake. Daughter got a plain burnt cheese burger and vanilla shake. Son got a plain hotdogs and wife got fries and custard.I'm from upstate new york and I wouldn't call those things milkshakes, at best I'd call them flavored milk. The only flavor my burger had was the char from the flat top it was cooked on.Now that this was the 1st time at this chain, we walked in looked at the menu and kind of waited for someone to say something to us but they don't, u order in a touch screen with no human interaction for questions or help. I wouldn't take my dog to eat there and I'd rather eat at burger King for a better burger and cheaper price.

Second time at this location. First time was pretty good. However, second time they were really busy (dinner time) which is understandable. I ordered 2 double cheese burgers both were burnt!! the 2 employees I did interact with were nice. Also if you’re a POC be prepared to get looked at weirdly and pushed because the YT people in there don’t say excuse me (none of them ever do) it’s almost like they get charged for saying excuse me.. sad & scary that we still live in these time.

Props to the manager! Me and my partner came to enjoy some burgers since it’s mostly calm at this shake shack. Today though a flock of parents and rude kids came to have a sports award ceremony. They even came with a box of awards. This is something you do in an auditorium.It went from 0-100 real fast. Kids were crawling on chairs and stuff and parents said nothing. I couldn’t even hear myself think. The manager then came out and asked the parents something and one of the dads kept going back and forth with him. The manager knew this was causing a disruption and I give him props for that. Most would just stay quiet.If your going to do something like this please do it at a restaurant or atleast pay for the space. Paying customers come here to enjoy food not to hear a whole award show.

We got takeout from this Shake Shack for our party of 6 and were pleased that our order was correct. Spouse had the bacon cheeseburger, I had a plain hamburger, we split an order of fries, and we each got the coffee and donuts milkshake. The burgers and shakes were perfect. I thought the order of fries was a little too small for the price, and crinkle cut aren't our favorite, but overall, it was a great meal.
