The staff know what can be done without fish sauce and what can't. Updated from previous review on 2026-02-26
This is based off of a few visits. I don’t typically want to leave a bad review based off of a single experience. Everyone has a bad day.
It’s difficult to watch someone sneeze in to their hand and then handle your food. This is one of those never-should-happen things but on the floor in front of a room full of customers makes me dread what happens behind closed doors.
We were a two top and the two top tables are tiny. And they have no sense of pacing. If you order four dishes to share they will bring them all at once and expect you to manage it all on this tiny nightstand they call a table.
On our second trip we sat down at a four top table to avoid this and the waitress demanded we move to the TV dinner tray table unless we told her in advance how much food we were going to order.
So that was that. We refused the interview application for a comfortable meal. We won’t be going back.

Fantastic Thai food, quick service, cozy, homey atmosphere in this small restaurant. Located in a shopping center where there is lots of free, surface parking.

The only reason this isn’t a 1-star review is because the food is actually pretty good. Unfortunately, the customer service has been consistently disappointing, and our last visit was the final straw.
On a previous visit, I saw a server sneeze and then wipe their nose with the back of their gloved hand. That alone made me uneasy, but we gave the place more chances because we did enjoy the food.
My friend and I usually order a lot of dishes to share. On one visit, we were seated at a tiny 2-person table and could barely fit everything without plates hanging off the edge. So this most recent time, when we walked in (Sunday night, after the dinner rush) and saw both a 2-top and an open 4-top, we sat at the larger table. The server had gestured toward that area, so we didn’t think it would be an issue.
She came over and told us we had to move to the 2-person table. We explained that we planned to order a lot of food and that the smaller table really wouldn’t be enough space. Instead of working with us, she pushed back and asked, “How much will you order?” At that point, we just decided to leave and go somewhere else.
It was surprising that they were so unwilling to accommodate two customers ready to spend money, just to keep a larger table open on the off chance a party of four might come in. Between that and the hygiene concern we witnessed before, we won’t be returning — and we definitely won’t be bringing family or friends, which is a shame because the kitchen is doing a much better job than the front of house.

I don't really understand the low review aggregate score. I am picky with restaurants in general, but I found that Sisters Thai offers delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere. Service was a bit slow but friendly. True, it is expensive, but it's not your average neighborhood canteen. Recommend the duck curry.

I went to this restaurant twice, and both experiences were terrible.
The first visit was rushed and unwelcoming. Our questions about the food were ignored, dessert was never offered, and the bill was dropped at our table without any courtesy. There was no thank you or acknowledgment, and we were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than customers.
I gave it a second chance, which was a mistake. We were told to wait about 20 minutes, which was fine, until the waitress insisted we wait outside in freezing 3-degree weather on slippery, snow-covered pavement. I explained that my daughter, who was visibly limping due to an injured leg, could not stand outside and that our car was parked far away. Despite this, we were still refused and told to wait outside.
This behavior was shockingly rude and completely lacking empathy or professionalism. We will not be returning. There are many Thai restaurants nearby with far better food, service, and respect for their customers.

Food was ok but nothing special. Only a very small dining area. Cramped. Service was efficient but lacked friendliness. Will not go back, and would not recommend.

Have been here a few times but this most recent was a very odd experience - seated quickly but the waitress kept rushing us to order - when we asked for another minute she returned in about 10 seconds and was very unfriendly. We ordered at 6:52pm and the food arrived at 6:56pm - way too fast for food cooked to order - clearly pre-packaged or frozen and heated up. The pork was very dry and the noodles were soggy. Seems the food has gone down in quality since we were last there but the prices keep rising - very odd vibe, bad service, and overall poor quality. Such a shame. Won't be returning.

Sister Thai is a great spot where you can sit inside or outside 😊
The service is super fast, and the food is really delicious. They even have waffles with ice cream for dessert, which is a nice surprise and the perfect sweet ending 🧇🍨
Overall, it’s a comfortable place with good food and quick service — definitely worth checking out 👍✨

Cute little place with expensive but tasty dishes. The desserts are honestly the main reason to come here.

Ordered both chicken and beef fried rice. Could not eat either plate because the rice was oily and the meat was barely cooked.

Was feeling a curry but the waitress said they can’t make any of them without fish sauce. She pointed me to a small part of the menu they could make without fish sauce. I got the veggie delight. It was good, lots of veggies and they were able to do streamed tofu instead of fried.
