This place is a literal national treasure.
$9 kiddie cup. No music, no inviting environment, just premium prices for mediocre ice cream.
It was bad. The cones tasted like cardboard and it was way overpriced. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Qualitity is middling to low. I go once in a while, but it’s not the same. This place was known to stay open late during the summer holidays because of the number of high school and college kids coming back to visit their families. That has stopped some time ago as the ownership focus is more on making as much cash as they can. It’s a business and that makes sense. However, their staff often times closes up Early and ignores customers standing right outside well before closing time—this has happened several times, not sure what’s going on.
The flavors are definitely not as good as they used to be. If anything signals “interminable decline” for our beloved region, it might be how this once charming small town ice cream shop has become an outpost of “the business is always right, and never the customer.”
Went back twice after this experience. Staff seemed miserable, flavors tasted terrible, and other customers seemed far more disappointed than I was.
Go to Potomac Grover instead.
Out of 75% of flavors advertised. Paid $9.85 for a medium that was 2 scoops at most.
Hours incorrect online.
Delicious ice cream, generous portions, super friendly service!
I received a pecan pie from Sprinkles as a holiday gift and typically wouldn’t leave a review on something that was gifted, but holy moly that pecan pie was literally the best pecan pie I’ve ever had in my entire life. This is one of the few pecan pies that actually includes pecans as the majority of the pie and not just some sugary base! I shared the pie with others, but I honestly could’ve eaten the entire thing by itself!

I had the same experience as ‘local guide’.
This place has changed for the worse.
The owner’s reply to local guide seemed to have a feeble attachment to the truth; a new yoghurt machine is available for some $2000 . . . I think she is an attorney.

Super overpriced ice cream that was runny too. Staff was nice enough. Hard to find location in busy shopping center.

Such a great local shop - they have been around for so long and they are a staple of Potomac. Recommend the ice cream and kind service!

Paid $7 for a single scoop cone and the cone was so stale it left a gross aftertaste.
Good, but terribly overpriced soft serve ice cream.
Small ice cream and sweet spot. Ice cream is Hershey’s brand.
