Delicious seasonal cuisine. Got the seasonal autumn vegetable wild rice soup and the fig ricotta toast with a hot cider. Lovely views from the dining hall and all tables are communal.

Nice little cafe to visit before or after the museum if you're a little hungry. It's sit anywhere so you'll most likely be at a table with strangers, which is great if you want to meet someone new and not so great if you have social anxiety.
The food was average and pretty pricey, but it was fun to eat something before going to look at the art.
The tomato soup had a coconut base and tasted similar to Indian curry, which was really nice. I had it with the grilled cheese which was surprisingly cold. Thankfully the soup was hot so I ended up just dipping the sandwich in there.
Service was great the lady who took everyone's order was very nice and did everything as fast as she could. Overall I'd come back if I was visiting the museum, but I wouldn't go out of my way to just eat here.

It's one of my favorite places to visit, whether to view the exhibits or to take a peaceful walk around the amazing grounds.
Calm atmosphere, well integrated into the environment, and suited for your visit to Glenstone. It’s not a destination by itself and it’s much better than it has to be. The food is simple and delicious and served by wonderful staff.

We go to the cafe every time we come to Glenstone because it is such a nice little place to get drinks or some food. The staff are so incredible at the cafe every time we go! They are very informed about ingredients in the food for anyone with allergies! So many gluten-free and vegan options, and no need to worry about any nuts or contamination. If you visit Glenstone I 100% recommend that you at least try the cafe out!

After touring the galleries out group enjoyed lunch here. The best was the chicken sandwich with two large pieces of chicken breast cooked with tangy spices while remaining moist and tasty. The poorest were the French fries that were soggy and tasteless. My advice would be to get the side salad of vibrant spring greens instead. Lovers of kale found the kale salad delectable as it was filled with chickpeas, dried cranberries and shredded cheese. The inside of the roast beef sandwich was tasty but it was overwhelmed by the good but way oversize roll. The pea soup was fine but lacked any zing

A tasty addition to your visit to Glenstone.
Try the radish toast. Also they have craft beer
The food is excellent! Rivals some of the best restaurants in DC. Great soups, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. Visitors to the museum should build a visit to the cafe into their itinerary.
I only come to Glenstone these days to visit the cafe lol. I truly enjoyed my experience after not being here for a year. The grilled cheese wasn’t too exciting but I always look forward to the summer drinks, chocolate chip cookies and salad and love that everything is organic and clean.
Food was good tasting. The ambience is casual, friendly and scenic.
