We go to the cafe every time we come to Glenstone because it is such a nice little place to get drinks or some food. The staff are so incredible at the cafe every time we go! They are very informed about ingredients in the food for anyone with allergies! So many gluten-free and vegan options, and no need to worry about any nuts or contamination. If you visit Glenstone I 100% recommend that you at least try the cafe out!
After touring the galleries out group enjoyed lunch here. The best was the chicken sandwich with two large pieces of chicken breast cooked with tangy spices while remaining moist and tasty. The poorest were the French fries that were soggy and tasteless. My advice would be to get the side salad of vibrant spring greens instead. Lovers of kale found the kale salad delectable as it was filled with chickpeas, dried cranberries and shredded cheese. The inside of the roast beef sandwich...
The food is excellent! Rivals some of the best restaurants in DC. Great soups, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. Visitors to the museum should build a visit to the cafe into their itinerary.
