It was a great place for our getting getting together with girls. We loved our food or cocktails, and good ambience.
Food was delicious. Waiter was attentive. Fun spring like atmosphere. Great evening special activities to come back for.
The Grove in Potomac is truly a gem. What they’ve done with the space is incredible, it’s warm, inviting, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. My go-to dishes are the chopped salad and the honey walnut salad—both are fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent, proving that simple dishes done well can really shine. Add in the live music on Thursday nights, and The Grove becomes more than just dinner—it’s an experience. The atmosphere, food, and music come together to create an amazing evening that feels both elevated and comfortable. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or planning a night out, The Grove never disappoints.
Great location. Great options on menu and nice decor in the restaurant. Nice place to take family, friends, or date night.
Our waiter was new and when asked about what the shelf tequila was, he named things that were not tequila related. I think it's important for servers to know the whole menu not just food. When it came to the food, we had requested more pita chips because they gave a very small serving with the crab dip. By the time they came the crab dip was cold. We ordered two servings of wings in the first ones that came out that were naked everybody enjoyed, but the second order that had a garlic rub was undercooked and mushy. I love the ambience of the restaurant and hopefully it was just an off night.
The food was so well seasoned! Service was great as well! Everyone that worked there was so warm and welcoming. Would absolutely go back.
The food was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable, suggesting what to order, and he was correct.
Friendly but inefficient. Drafty room felt like we were sitting in the corner of someone's basement. Food was okay. Probably won't go back.
Was really excited to try the French fry Ferris wheel with the different flavors, fries were cold and I wish the serving was bigger for the price. Drinks were just okay, nothing to rave about and next time I will ask for less ice, my friend's drink looked like they just poured it in a martini glass.. the waitress did say there were working in the drink menu. Overall, not sure I'd return.
The food was delicious, and the ambiance was relaxing. However, the service was poor. The food arrived late, the waitress did not clean the table, and did not check on us.

I was very disappointed with my experience at The Grove for my Sunday brunch. I was there a few months ago on a Saturday, and it was very pleasant then. I was hoping for a similar experience to get together with a couple of friends. There was a DJ with music so loud that I wasn't able to hear my friend's talking and we were just sitting across the table from each other. the place was busy, the waiter was running around and forgot to come by to take our orders until a manager came and asked if we need anything. The food was OK. My BLTA sandwich was supposed to have mayo but there wasn't any. The bread was toasted and hard. The potatoes were good. All in all, it was a poor experience for me. I was not able to enjoy the meal at all. I think the loud music was the worst experience for me. I don't think I will go back and will definite not recommend this place to others.
The food was great, service was friendly, ambience was lit with a DJ. Great start for this new restaurant. Definitely coming back! Their brunch is delicious and fresh.

The Grove at the Tuckerman Lane in Potomac, MD is a spectacular place to visit. The ambiance is great. The entire restaurant is very pretty and roomy. The food is very tasty. In particular, the chicken sandwich I ordered was very yummy. Most importantly, the server, Saku provided superb service and the manager Mike was very friendly and responsive the first time I met him to make reservation for our group. We were able to sit at a corner which provided privacy to our group of 16 people. It is definitely a place worth visiting.

It’s a great space but not the place for me. Went on a week day so it was pretty empty. Staff was lovely the entire time we were there. We ordered the fries Ferris wheel.. although cute, over priced for what amounted to a side of fries. Our entrees took a while for them to come out. I think it was because although it was empty with a few customers, it looked like only one waitress who was also the hostess was working. Thankfully the plates came warm.
I was disappointed in my dish. I ordered the risotto. It was expensive for a dish I usually love but not this one. The risotto itself was bland, the scallops were over cooked. Which made them chewy. The edamame was an odd addition but that’s just my preference.
