The food was great, service was friendly, ambience was lit with a DJ. Great start for this new restaurant. Definitely coming back! Their brunch is delicious and fresh.

The Grove at the Tuckerman Lane in Potomac, MD is a spectacular place to visit. The ambiance is great. The entire restaurant is very pretty and roomy. The food is very tasty. In particular, the chicken sandwich I ordered was very yummy. Most importantly, the server, Saku provided superb service and the manager Mike was very friendly and responsive the first time I met him to make reservation for our group. We were able to sit at a corner which provided privacy to our group of 16 people. It is definitely a place worth visiting.

It’s a great space but not the place for me. Went on a week day so it was pretty empty. Staff was lovely the entire time we were there. We ordered the fries Ferris wheel.. although cute, over priced for what amounted to a side of fries. Our entrees took a while for them to come out. I think it was because although it was empty with a few customers, it looked like only one waitress who was also the hostess was working. Thankfully the plates came warm.
I was disappointed in my dish. I ordered the risotto. It was expensive for a dish I usually love but not this one. The risotto itself was bland, the scallops were over cooked. Which made them chewy. The edamame was an odd addition but that’s just my preference.

We went to The Grove tonight after a sporting event, and the staff there was superb. The bartender was our waiter, and he was so attentive and interacted with my energy filled 7 year old in such a positive way. The manager was also there, and she was so engaging. I will be booking events and taking friends here in the future. I give this place top marks!!

I’ve been here twice before today. But this was the worst experience I’ve had here. The bartender was drowning behind the bar with no help. All the while the manager was sitting next to us with a table full of friends. I got here at 12:25pm and didn’t get a my second drink or food until 2:00pm. The manager did nothing to support the bar area outside of serving his friends and brings them shots. My Fiancé never got here SALAD that she ordered. I can’t blame the staff when operations start at the top with bad management/self awareness.

Dirty silverware, watery cocktail, very slow service. Food was decent, and the decor was nice. Our server seemed to be lost and disappeared. The staff need to be trained better.

The Grove has soooo much potential!! But it just falls short.
-The inside is absolutely beautiful!!!
-Spacious tables with a large bar.
-Friendly staff.
BUT…
-It seems the staff needs more training. While they were very friendly, they were not the best at getting orders correct. It was only about 50 people in the entire restaurant (not busy) but they seemingly couldn’t keep up.
-The bottomless mimosas…one glass at a time AND they take your glass to the back for refills. Imagine having your glass mixed up with someone else’s.
-Orders kept coming out incorrectly.
-We were given another party’s food. When we advised the waitress, she apologized and proceeded to take the food from our table and give it to the correct customers. A BIG NO NO!
We were there for a good friend’s birthday brunch so we didn’t make a big deal about the errors but they definitely need help/training before I can comfortably suggest this place to others.
I didn’t even record all of the food because the presence (and the taste) wasn’t up to par.

Me and my lady stopped by for lunch while building a roof in POTOMAC. It’s our first time here. First, we started off with a cocktail old-fashioned, which was done well by our bartender. And the steak and frights were amazing. Asked for a medium, and it came back so juicy Cooked to perfection. I wish other restaurants can learn from them. The Bible was quiet and beautiful. My new spot whenever in POTOMAC now during construction.
Our waiter/bartender deserves a promotion. This young man represented the place well.

Chose this restaurant because it’s partnered with the inKind app. The vibe was interesting hard to put my finger on it. It felt like a mix between a nightclub and a family restaurant, which made for a bit of a wild atmosphere for the area.
The menu left me a little confused, as I couldn’t quite identify what theme or direction it was going for. Nothing was bad, but it also didn’t feel cohesive. I’d definitely be interested in seeing them refine or refresh the menu in the future, since the concept seems like it could go in a unique direction.
Overall, not a bad experience, but it left me unsure about what the restaurant is really aiming to be.

A very fun place for the whole family. The food is great and the staff can't be nicer. There is a bar for those who partake and the atmosphere is colorful and fun with beautiful murals on two walls.

The food is fantastic. The burger was delicious and done right. The salmon was perfect and the flavors worked well together.
The service was horrendous. I asked the server about the martini special - $6 all day. She had no idea what I was talking about. She then left the table and when she came back, we discussed food. She never asked us for our drinks just food. She did recommend the salmon, which was a wonderful choice.
When she did come by, my mom asked for a diet soda. My mom was half way through her meal, about 10+ minutes later, and she then brought the soda.
We sat for more than 30 minutes without anyone checking on us. Our waters were empty. I had finished my food and was just sitting there with a dirty plate. We were told we were at the best table... stuck in a corner. The manager brought water, wine, food plates and pleasant conversation to every other table but ours. After my mom stared him down, he came over and she told him we needed water... just water. He got the water pitcher and filled our glasses halfway and apologized...sort of. It was half-assed.
Our server disappeared from the floor for a good 10 minutes at a time. When she came back on the floor, she never once came to our table or even looked in oir direction.
She did finally come by and apologize. She did look frazzled. When we asked for our check, you never saw her move so fast. She came by at least twice while my mom and I discussed payment and tip. We paid her with cash. As we left she stopped us to ask if we used an app to pay. No, there is your cash. She then pushed the money around and realized there was more money. Seriously? Seriously? You are a terrible server and then you think we didn't pay instead of just looking....really looking?
I have had poor service in the past but this... this was downright rude. You don't stop by for more than 30 minutes... then you stop us from leaving because you are too lazy to move money aside?
I was a server. If I was that slammed, I asked for help. I asked other servers or even the manager to check on my tables. I get it. I do. I have been there. But, I never abandoned my table for 30 minutes. There were only 10 tables of patrons. There were 2 servers, a manager, a runner and a bartender. Seriously? That is plenty of help. We were the only table who was ignored in that entire restaurant for so long. Believe me, we watched. If I could have found the water pitcher, I would have filled our waters ourselves.
Then, after seeing how upset my mom was, the manager did nothing. Absolutely nothing.
At least the food was the saving grace. And the prices are very reasonable.

A friend and I enjoyed lunch here during Restaurant Week. My steak and cheese egg roll starter came with piquant sauce which made the entire combination inspired and tasty. My friend's gazpacho was reported to be as good as her own. My goat cheese strawberry salad came atop more baby arugula that anyone could hope to eat but what I did eat was delicious. My friend's very large turkey and Munster cheese on sourdough was made tasty with the avocado and mayo. The fresh made large potato chips were a delicious accompanyment. The key lime pie actually tasted of key lime and made for a refreshing dessert. A place worthy of a return visit.
