The property management team at the Bolger Center changes constantly as does the management of the Pony Express. The bartenders and servers have been a constant for some time and are amazing. Tyrone and Heidi always take great care of their customers.

Hope that you had a good bar mitzvah, last night, Noah......And, I'm hopeful that the Bolger Center catering staff was ready for this important event and that they were more gracious than my wife and I experienced here, on Saturday. Neighborhood residents as we are, we occasionally stop by to dine....the outside setting is beautiful and, times past, service and food quality was satisfactory. Indeed, the staff would repeatedly tell us that they valued the "neighborhood" business. As other folk have observed, the restaurant is undergoing the world's longest-tenured renovation.....now into the 4th month, having been originally billed as just a couple of weeks. We stopped yesterday to see if they had completed their work, walking into the empty restaurant at noon time. Door was open, and we simply stepped inside to look.....immediately, a female employee descended upon us, ordering us to leave in that Noah's party was but a mere six hours, away. We asked as to the completion of their renovations and the same woman responded that more work remained, but that we had to leave --- private function, you know. All of this while she was busy closing the entrance door. Got it; gone for us. No engagement on her part, just rude 'tude. So, lesson to the Bolger Center.....there's no "B" in the word, hospitality. And, for Noah, I hope that they improved your event signage before your function.....putting your name on copy paper taped to parking lot cones is pretty much bush league.

Where to begin? The place was very dark and under renovation. We had to ask if we could just sit anywhere. Waitress started off with getting our drinks and we got them quickly. She took our order promptly. This is where the good service ended. My food came out before my wife's did and I had to wait for hers before I could eat. The crab dip and pita was very good. I ran out of soda and had to go up to the bar to find the waitress. I got the refill. Had to ask for more napkins and my wife had to go back up to the bar to get her refill. The staff seems to like socializing more than being attentive to their customers. We are the only two in the entire restaurant, other than a guy that had a whopping cough and was LOUD when he coughed and when he spoke. That was very annoying. The bartender also saw that we were waiting for our waitress and did nothing to assist us. I also got the wings and they were very dry. My wife's turkey club was bland and dry as well. We had to track down the waitress to get the check and a to go box. It made no sense, being the ONLY seated customers- that we had zero attention, the waitress actually saw us sitting patiently waiting for check, and she choose to ignore and wipe 5-6 tables instead of approaching our table. All in all not a good experience. Proximity to our house is the only reason we may consider returning. Highly recommend retraining the staff to put CUSTOMERS FIRST.

Fun place for kids and adults. Great to go with a small or large group. Food is decent, but it's the set up and ease of moving around if your group is large, that makes it fun.

We hosted a meal for about 25 people and the service was prompt. The food quality was good, even though they mixed up a few dishes. Beers were cold. Evening manager was attentive - checking in to see how our group was doing and ensured we had a nice time.
