A bakery anywhere is a welcome sight. Vie De France is well known for a variety of pastries, sandwiches, breads and other sweets. There's no indoor seating here unfortunately, but there are a handful of two-tops on the sidewalk in front.

Delicious food, the pastries are a little spendy but it's worth it for high quality food and good service.
The size of the entrees are a bit small but it's still a great place to stop by for a quick bite!
The staff were very friendly.
Try the chocolate almond croissant, it is delectable.

I was on my way to Glenstone and stopped by the cafe. The baked goods smelled great but tasted awful. They did not use butter for their baked goods—they were made with inferior oils and tasted like they came from a cheap grocery store. I really wanted to like them, but they were so disappointing. Sorry.

They were so kind when I went. The young lady that took my order was patient as I went back and forth over the sandwich selection. I decided on the Classic Chicken Salad Sandwich (spoiler…it’s on a croissant?). I personally took off the tomato! It had the right amount of onion and a good crunch from the celery. I am a chicken salad connoisseur so I was very happily surprised.

The two women at the counter ringing me up were just a patient and kind as I dealt with a malfunction with my card. Ever the business women they kept the line moving opening up the second register. When I was able to pay she worked with me and never made me feel like a burden.

The vibes are light and airy inside. I’m so excited to go back and try the different pastries and desserts. They made a lifetime customer out of me!?

Cet endroit est vraiment bien! Not sure if it's authentic french pastries and bread, but it sure tastes galactically euphoric. Nom nom nom ?!

Overall: 4.50: Delicious, freshly prepared French pastries, cookies, sandwiches, coffee, etc. a very large selection of croissants ?, baguettes, cookies, pastries, macarons, napoleons, savory sandwiches, soups, etc. Some staff fluently speak French. Lots of parking and other shops. Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options. If you have Todd allergies, you’ll need to ask more questions about food prep.

Dietary restrictions: If you’re on a diet, I don’t recommend eating here. Too much temptation.

Parking: Large parking lot free of charge.

Kid-friendliness: Family-and-kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: Credibility worry wide aisles.

The food & pastries are fabulous, but the service is very inconsistent; it appears that no one has a designated task there which creates unnecessary back ups or wait time during check out. Too much multitasking going on there to be streamline & efficient. This place could benefit from some management intervention.

Great sandwiches and pastry items. The staff are always friendly and welcoming no matter how busy they are.

Vegetarian options: There're few things I would get from here when I feel like an herbivore. VDF and tomato basil soup are my go to. They also have pasta salad and of course pastry

Way too expensive

I've been coming here for years, but something changed over the years that I can't really understand what. Bakery and sweets are less tasty and unreasonably expensive, the place itself not as appealing as it ised to be. Possibly, there are new owners, possibly something else, which means things might torn to better eventually. The place is worth checking once in a while. My main concern is high prices. I would normally pay as much as they ask for for mich higher quality and some extra experience, but currently the prices are unjustifyably too high, by at least 20%.
