“It's not a fancy place but excellent food. The portions were huge, and the staff was friendly. You could tell it was a family feel with the staff.
Vegetarian options: We had a young lady woth us that was vegetarian and they made sure to make her whatever she wanted. they adapted the menu to provide her a healthy alternative.
Parking: Good location. Lots of parking
Kid-friendliness: Very good working worh the children and making sure they did not leave hungry. No kids' activities, but the food came out so fast they really didn't need to be entertained.“

“Have had a lot of people have asked my opinion between Th Red Roost and The old mill. My opinion is the roost has a much better atmosphere . More like family dining. I have been there every weekend (except for 2) this year and 44 times last year. I have never had a bad meal or service from this establishment . I know most off the staff by first name and they know me as well. The treat every customer like they are the only customer they have to wait on even when they are slammed packed full. My kudos to management and all the staff. You all make a great team and a wonderful experience with every visit. And once you’re done eating the best tasting crabs on the shore you can take the Rooster Cruiser up the hill to Bull Lips tiki bar. . The staff that man’s the food truck and the bar there are just as awesome as the staff at The roost. So take a Saturday or a Sunday and visit these two awesome places. You will not be disappointed . “Went on a breakfast date with my husband both Saturday and Sunday morning. It's a family atmosphere so there are little kids eating and talking. Food wasn't over cooked or undercooked my husband got coffee and I orange juice. If you love French toast 🥞 🥓 sausage 🥚 it's cheap and yummy“

“We have been twice.. You order at their kitchen , then sit at tables in what appears to be a old greenhouse. It is actually not but rather a huge courtyard decorated in a Caribbean theme. There is a cornhole game that you can play plus a full bar and also a burger joint and mexican and seafood restaraunt there as well. The pizza was delish ! We ordered a pizza called the Marguerite. It was made to order and was done rightWe will go there again. So far it is the best pizza we have had in Salisbury and the atmosphere there is great. 5 stars for sure !
Parking: Small parking lot with room for about 20 cars or so. 4 spots we saw, are for handicap.
Wheelchair accessibility: The tables are picnic tables and it can be set up with plenty of room for wheelchairs and also the entrance is wide enough for a wheelchair.“

“PAT’ssssss , PATTYYYYYY , Pattykinsssss 😂 you NEVER DISAPPOINT!! Everytime I order from you guys everything is made to perfection!! Sometimes we razzle dazzle with the order but it’s never been a time where we haven’t received EXACTLY what we ordered if Not BETTER !! I just wanna say thank you guys for loving my fat girl we LOVEEEEE FOOD AND YOU 😂🫶🏾♥️

“My family ate at this location last August. At that time, I did not give a review. I appreciated the lunch that we ate during our vacation. The people that took our order did a great job explaining everything so that we received the most for our meal money. We're from Upstate New York. If we are in Salibury, Maryland again we will return to eat another meal.“

“On the way to down from NJ heading to my son’s college orientation in VA, stopped for lunch and found a total gem in this place!! Over the moon crabcake, Delicious food, delightful owner and staff, all in a beautiful atmosphere on the river. We will make this a regular stop on our way down to visit him in college. Highly highly recommended! Do it!“
