“It is such a tucked away little gem. I enjoy having a few drinks and relaxing while looking out onto the Wicomico River. Everyone was so friendly. There is a free shuttle from and back to The Red Roost.”

“Have had a lot of people have asked my opinion between Th Red Roost and The old mill. My opinion is the roost has a much better atmosphere . More like family dining. I have been there every weekend (except for 2) this year and 44 times last year. I have never had a bad meal or service from this establishment . I know most off the staff by first name and they know me as well. The treat every customer like they are the only customer they have to wait on even when they are slammed packed full. My kudos to management and all the staff. You all make a great team and a wonderful experience with every visit. And once you’re done eating the best tasting crabs on the shore you can take the Rooster Cruiser up the hill to Bull Lips tiki bar. . The staff that man’s the food truck and the bar there are just as awesome as the staff at The roost. So take a Saturday or a Sunday and visit these two awesome places. You will not be disappointed . “Today i went for a crab cake tour in search for Marylands best crab cakes. Today i ended up at Mogan's Oyster House in Salisbury MD. This crab cake ranks #5 in my list. Its meaty and well seasoned. Its about 6oz. Needs a smigen more buttery flavor but other wise stellar. The star ended up being to toasted Bun. If i could combine this Bun with my #1 ranked crab cake. It would be unmatched in the U.S. the service was grat. Atmosphere is nice and inspiring of a classic seafood house with nice Bar decore. I will say this place was 3rd on my list to try down here in the Salisbury area. I only ended up here because place #1 was closed for some odd reason and the second was a truck no where to be found. 3rd time was a charm.”

“We went to roadie Joe’s yesterday for lunch and it was so amazing. Our server, Faith, was lovely and so attentive. We were stuck between a couple different apps and she recommended the crab dip and it was a fantastic choice! We got a couple different cheesesteaks and kids chicken bites and some salads and everything was just delicious and fresh and came out quickly. I love the decor and the fact that I apparently relate to “retro” now since the music all reminded me heavily of my lower school years. Totally recommend across the board. We’ll definitely be back to see Faith again! ☺️”

“This place was incredible. As a seafood enthusiast I’m always looking for great crab places accompanied with great service. This place did both incredibly! The two gentlemen that helped us were extremely helpful and just great human beings!

We got size one crabs. The food came out quick and delicious! Hardly any mustard or crab gunk. The person in front of me ordered shrimp; that also looked and smelled amazing.

As a Michelin star review would say, this place is 100% worth the detour.”

“Very clean, actually have a true butcher and meat cutters, an extremely wide variety of fresh produce, spices, imported shelf items. They have Trump's favorite Sardines in a red can. My husband bought a can and said they were pretty darn tasty (ew). Their prices are reasonable. They have really good avocados like nowhere else, it's like 2 hass avocados in one, very creamy and ripe. They sell cotija and blue corn tortillas, Scotch bonnet hot peppers, the list goes on. We will be doing a majority of our grocery shopping here from now on. Good prices, excellent quality food. They also accept EBT. In the back, they have a restaurant as well. We ate their once and it was decent! Highly recommend

Vegetarian options: You can order beans and rice instead of any meat option. I do not think they have fake meat however. You would just have to substitute meat with black or pinto beans.

Parking: This shop is located in a shopping center so there is plenty of free parking.”

“What a great little restaurant off the beaten path. People there so pleasant, food wonderful. I asked for an entree at about 2:15, and they checked to see if I could get it. Didn't say on menu that the entrees start at 4. They got it ready and it was an Eastern Shore platter that was smazing. I go a side of Bert's and "corn pudding" which I had not had since a child. Go take a ride to Vienna, MD.
