“Have had a lot of people have asked my opinion between Th Red Roost and The old mill. My opinion is the roost has a much better atmosphere . More like family dining. I have been there every weekend (except for 2) this year and 44 times last year. I have never had a bad meal or service from this establishment . I know most off the staff by first name and they know me as well. The treat every customer like they are the only customer they have to wait on even when they are slammed packed full. My kudos to management and all the staff. You all make a great team and a wonderful experience with every visit. And once you’re done eating the best tasting crabs on the shore you can take the Rooster Cruiser up the hill to Bull Lips tiki bar. . The staff that man’s the food truck and the bar there are just as awesome as the staff at The roost. So take a Saturday or a Sunday and visit these two awesome places. You will not be disappointed . “My husband and I had a fantastic dinner at Mogan's tonight! We started with the crab dip—rich and cheesy (maybe a bit too cheesy for my taste), but still really good, especially with the warm, crusty bread it came with. We also tried the biscuits with honey butter, and let me just say, the combination was absolutely delicious.

For our entrees, I ordered the house burger with Gruyere cheese and bacon jam. I had never tried bacon jam before, and I’m so glad I took the chance it didn’t disappoint! The burger came with fries and was full of flavor. My husband got the filet mignon with potatoes and the vegetable of the day, which was green beans. I had a bite of his steak and was blown away by how tender and flavorful it was.

We were so full from dinner, but we couldn’t resist taking a slice of turtle cheesecake to go and wow, it might be the best cheesecake I’ve ever had!

Our waitress was kind, attentive, and made the experience even better. This is my third time at Mogan’s, and every visit has been great, but tonight’s meal really stood out and has me wanting to come back soon. On my last visit, I had the burger of the day with truffle sauce, which the waitress recommended—it was incredible! I was hoping to order it again tonight, but sadly it wasn’t available. (Fingers crossed they bring it back!)

As for the pricing, I think it’s very fair and on par with similar restaurants. All in all, a wonderful dining experience. Can’t wait to return!”

“Very clean, actually have a true butcher and meat cutters, an extremely wide variety of fresh produce, spices, imported shelf items. They have Trump's favorite Sardines in a red can. My husband bought a can and said they were pretty darn tasty (ew). Their prices are reasonable. They have really good avocados like nowhere else, it's like 2 hass avocados in one, very creamy and ripe. They sell cotija and blue corn tortillas, Scotch bonnet hot peppers, the list goes on. We will be doing a majority of our grocery shopping here from now on. Good prices, excellent quality food. They also accept EBT. In the back, they have a restaurant as well. We ate their once and it was decent! Highly recommend

Vegetarian options: You can order beans and rice instead of any meat option. I do not think they have fake meat however. You would just have to substitute meat with black or pinto beans.

Parking: This shop is located in a shopping center so there is plenty of free parking.”

“First time today and it was great! We got the pulled pork sandwiches and they were just amazing! I rarely finish my lunch but I didn't have to carry anything home today! Prior to our meal, I ordered an orange crush that was so good I could have drank a pitcher full. No over pouring ,it was a very well made cocktail with fresh juice. Only cons are parking. Weekends are easy with the county lot but during the week I can imagine it is tight. Also loved the art on the ceiling tiles!!!!”

“What a great little restaurant off the beaten path. People there so pleasant, food wonderful. I asked for an entree at about 2:15, and they checked to see if I could get it. Didn't say on menu that the entrees start at 4. They got it ready and it was an Eastern Shore platter that was smazing. I go a side of Bert's and "corn pudding" which I had not had since a child. Go take a ride to Vienna, MD.

“I just had the most delicious crabs I’ve ever eaten! The crabs were full of meat, incredibly sweet, and topped with the tastiest seasoning. Every bite was outstanding. If you’re looking for the best crabs you’ve ever tasted and want to be treated by the nicest people, head to this establishment. You won’t be disappointed! I won't get crabs anywhere else!”
