A hungry workingman's paradise. Brown paper tablecloths, 30-gallon trash can at every table. Crabs by the platter, beer by the pitcher. Doesn't get better than that.

We had a great experience here after leaving Old Mill because of how they treated us. Red Roost is the only place I will come for crabs in the future. Better food than Old Mill, better prices, and phenomenally better service.

We had a fantastic meal at the Red Roost. The restaurant is set in an old chicken coop that has been refashioned into a warm and friendly dining experience. The seafood was fresh and the staff was friendly. The setting was truly unique and well worth the visit. Highly recommend!

Great, old school, crab shack. No frills. Huge crabs. Great food across the menu. Worth the trip.

Such a cool, off the road spot. Some of the best and most meaty crabs I've ever had, hands down. Will be back!

Growing up in the area, I've been going to the red roost all my life. Easily 100's of times and can count on one hand the number I've times I had a less than perfect experience. We've had our party for work there many times, with a group of 30-40 people and the staff are always on point, taking excellent care of us. If you have Brandon or Jayla serving, you're guaranteed to have an excellent experience. Top AYCE seafood restaurant on the eastern shore!

P.s. Upgrade your hush puppies, add some onion and garlic and butter to the mix. 😁

My two siblings and I came in Saturday, July 24th. My first time there my siblings both have been before. We all ordered the ALCE crabs with the delicious starters ! Corn on the cob, fried shrimp , fried chicken, clams were refilled without asking along with the crabs. Our server Bradley was amazing. Friendly, personable and efficient. Will definitely going back and ask for Bradley.

We've dined at The Roost since I was a young child. Generally, we've always been very pleased. However, a party of 9 adults visited recently. There were several open tables, yet our fried foods that accompany the AYCE was way overcooked. Crabs were very small, which is expected with the crab population right now. But the 6 crabs with the Just Enough for my Senior parents were also VERY pitiful. Some of us sat for up to 15 minutes with no crabs or crab legs, and considering the price, that's unacceptable (especially when $130 tip is tacked on - which I completely understand with a party of 9, as a former server, we're very generous with the tipping). We were all around disappointed with the entire experience.
