Only had carry out but the place is a quintessential hole in the wall. Pool table, a few tables and bar seating. A rather extensive chalkboard menu with prices that are in a time warp. The food that I have had is much better than it would be expected at the price. Well made nicely filled sub…much better than Subway. Lots of other items and based on lunch crowd they must be good too.
Dogwood sandwiches all around and some fried pickles,so good definitely worth the stop for anytime food. I really wanted one of everything but knew I couldn't eat it all!! We also got the chicken nuggies and fries, the grandson ate it up!! Headed down the east coast back to Florida! That was a fantastic sandwich!! Stop in right off the highway!!
An awesome local spot. Delicious easy food (the Dagwood is a meal for 2), cheap drinks and great service!
