Been there twice so far. So far so good they haven’t failed me delicious preps
I eat here all the time, and for good reason—this place serves some of the best Nigerian food I’ve had outside of home. It’s super convenient since it’s close to my university, and after a long day of classes and athletics, nothing hits like food from Nu’Shiloh.
My go-to combo is the jollof rice with plantain and goat meat—it’s perfectly spicy, the plantains are always fried just right (crispy edges, soft in the middle), and the goat meat is tender and well-seasoned. You can tell they take their time with the cooking.
The vibes are calm and welcoming, whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Service is friendly and they’re supplied with a great assortment of beverages!
Definitely recommend if you’re craving authentic, homemade-style Nigerian food. 10/10, I’ll keep coming back!
We had food catered for my party and it was amazing. Every single dish was a 12/10, specifically the asaro, buka stew, and jollof rice. My friends and family all loved it! Thank you!❤️
The lady that’s always there is rude. The older lady there is very nice. She just don’t always understand what is being said . I don’t want anybody RUDE fixing my food. Me and my friends stop going because she’s so unprofessional.

If i could give them a 0 i would. Only good thing about this place is how affordable their food is, besides that you’re in a for a ride. Food is old and stale, the restaurant staff are very rude, it’s like you’re begging them to do their job for food you’re paying for. 0/10 would not recommended.
This is my favorite place to eat🥹 I could literally eat here everyday !! Everything is very flavorful and everyone that works in there are so kind and welcoming.
I ordered for bitter leaf soup and pounded yam they soup was so small I call the restaurant and they lady on phone was so rude I won’t recommend no dry fish on the soup.
Delicious period.
Very rude, set the phone down while I was still ordering, left me on the phone saying "hello?" For 5 minutes straight and when I called back and told her she was like "you said what you wanted I heard you" ummm no I was still talking and adding to my order. I will patronize another african spot because this ain't it
I called in to place an order but like everyone who is new or hasn’t placed an order in a while would ask questions; I did that. But the lady over the phone was so frustrated that she couldn’t calm down to understand. If you must run a business, make sure whoever is managing the phone is kind and not an angry person. I had to cut the call. I couldn’t stand being disrespected like that.

I just wish they would respect customers and not have such a nasty attitude for no reason. It’s really a shame. And I’m African and cannot defend them against what people say about their nasty “hurry up and buy” no pleasantness attitude. I would drive farther just to not give them my money. It’s a shame. A simple smile and a hello thank you for coming in is all it takes. Then you can have an attitude and most people would ignore it. And it seems to be how a lot of the African restaurants are. They aren’t the only ones but this is just for this review. I can only come here when I am in the mood to deal with the attitude.

Me and my boyfriend love the Egusi and powdered yam. It’s very flavorful and we always return a few times a year I recommend, the service over the phone from the lady can be improved but the food and the gentleman that rings the orders up are always nice.
