“Great customer service tonight at Porthouse Crabcakes & Creamery. It was our anniversary and we were wanting ice cream. We walked up at 6:30 and realized they closed at 4. The owner, Kelly, was leaving as we were walking away. He asked if we wanted ice cream and re-opened the store just for us! We didn’t reaize they make their own ice cream - it was delicious, highly recommend.“
“We stopped there for dinner and didn't want a big meal. They have a smaller portion menu with their regular dinner items. I tried their meatloaf for the first time and was amazed. “I've been eating at this restaurant 30+ years and the breakfasts have always been delicious and filling. Simple country cooking is what I enjoy. The breakfast buffet is good and the menu selections are good. Staff and the "coffee wench" are always pleasant and attentive. Counter seating, booths, and tables accommodate parties of all sizes. Today I have sausage gravy on freshly made biscuits with home fries. Just wonderful and plenty of good coffee to wash it down. So glad this place is still going strong so I can visit again.“
“The customer service Miss. Phyllis has is amazing! Very professional and very attentive. Just went the other day and got the Hot Meatloaf and was very impressed, seasoned and cooked to perfection.
