We had good service but the food was so so. I enjoyed my taco de lingua and sope de suadero but others in our group found the chicken to be bland. Also, $4.99/taco seemed a bit high. The salsas were kicking though. Spicy!
I also find restaurants without music on in the background, the case during our visit, to be slightly off-putting. The sidewalk and other storefronts nearby were dirty.

The menu features a wide selection of meats for tacos, tortas, and huaraches, including the juicy and delicious Torta Milanese. The service is friendly and personable, with a home-cooked feel. While the exterior may be unassuming, the interior is warm and welcoming. Reasonably priced and popular with locals, Maria Bonita Taqueria is a hidden gem worth trying, despite some limitations in parking.
