This is a little hidden gem one may not consider as you drive by because of all of the construction for the Purple Line directly next door. If you like Latin cuisine, make this a "we have to check this out" restaurant. The restaurant is under new management and has a new name. (Pollo Ranchito if I recall correctly) The food is outstanding, and the portions are generous. (You will have enough for later). At the moment they have filed for a new liquor license, so there is no alcohol. The ambiance is very nice. Ample parking, clean with constant Latin music playing along with soccer on at least two screens. Nothing loud or obnoxious. (Consider this was lunch at noon) The service was lackluster. During our meal, we had to get up twice to ask for drinks, dessert, and the check. We didn't know what her name was, to at least call her over. And there may have been a waitress confusion as to who's table was supposed to be servicing it. The check was rudely returned by a different waitress, and we got the impression there was a problem. For this I was not be able to give them an extra star. I will be returning because whomever is in the kitchen, is preparing art. I recommend the manager implement a training process for their servers, so to at least improve their own gratuity.

El Rancherito I's by far one of the WORST restaurants I've EVER been to!! I was treated poorly, and my (service dog) was denied access inside the restaurant. Which is against THE LAW!! The restaurant should be shut down! Very disappointed!

Place is very bland, chips were plain, tomato sauce tasted like canned sauce.. chicken was undercook, lots of pink spots, portion was pretty big, tasted okay nothing special .. pupusa was not good, didn't even finish it...This place is not what it used to beCustomer service was 2/5 ... Lady didn't even check on us, we had to call her over 3x....Prices are scratched out so you don't even know how much your paying till the end.. $25 for this not bad but when the food is bad ... It's bad
