“Great dinner last night. We booked a mid week get away at the inn and booked a reservation at the restaurant. We were quite pleased with the dinner. We both had a cocktail and for starters my bride had the Caesar salad and I had the Cream crab soup. Both towered excellent. For dinner we ordered the pork chop and the 2 crab cakes. Both were delicious. The crab cake was all crab not breadcrumbs like other places. We brought a dessert back to room and enjoy our crème brûlée a bit later. All and all a great evening.”

“Our server, Ron, was phenomenal.I had the potato skins for an appetizer and the buttermilk chicken for the main course. Both were good - especially the garlic mashed potatoes.The prices were a little high, but the portion sizes were good.They were well staffed.Minus 1 star to atmosphere because the music made it hard to talk at some points. But that was because we were right next to the speaker. Overall, the tunes were not obnoxious. And it seemed like they even had a bunch of nose cancelling ceiling tiles to help the room not be echo-y.The bathrooms were very clean.”

“Ice cream!!!! I have to say the coffee milkshake I got yesterday was the absolute best. The milkshake was made perfectly not to thin and not to thick. The coffee ice cream had the best flavor. The young lady that was working was an absolute delight.”

“Came to Rock Hall for a crab cake before going home to Idaho. Stopped at the Rock and hoped for the best. We were well rewarded! Great crab cakes, full of backfin! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was a little hole in the wall but in a good way.”

“Always fun at JJ, but expect a crowd. Basically it is a bunch of boaters listening to music and having some drinks. If you are from the western shore and want to feel like you are on vacation, this is a great spot.”
