Considering it's RockHall and most of what you want is a view of the water, I never gave this place a chance until recently when I had some disappointing drinks at the newly re-owned Watermans so we decided to try here for the eats. It's dark and dank inside so ambience you won't get however the food was great and reasonably priced. Everyone in my party liked what they had and dinner even came with rolls and butter.Decent pricing on drinks too and not watered down (lol I guess they call it waterman's for a reason!) A few in our party had the traditional German fare and raved over it. The couple we were with were celelbrating their anniversary and they gave them a dessert in honor of it! Service was great, our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable so for that and the good food, we'll definitely be back. In summary, don't let the lack of waterview or ambience dissuade u from trying this gem as long as it took me to! A definite must when visiting RockHall.

The owner is a complete drunk, which comes with a side of profanity & racism. The restaurant is outdated (dark and dingy) prices are high food options are low. Took my business elsewhere. Strongly don't recommend.

Waiter was very uninviting, like we weren’t meant to be there. Would barely talk to us but laugh and joke with other tables. Food was bland and tasteless.I used to come here every summer as a kid and this is the first bad experience I’ve had down here. :/

The steamed vegetables were very flavorful. Everyone was happy with their meals however I did not like the crab cakes as they did not have enough flavor to me but everything else was good. The burger, shrimp, and steak was great. Wednesday night out with some friends. Went to Bay Wolf and had the oysters. They were delicious and came in variations of raw, Rockefeller, casino and fried. All were delicious, and the price was very reasonable. And I was pleased with how quickly another batch came out when we had finished our first helping. The service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend this place and will be back.

The ceasar salad was so good and well dressed. Wish our chicken wasn't cold though, we ordered the hot wings. The flavor of the wings weren't bad but they were under cooked, so we sent it back to the kitchen. That seemed to piss our server off, which irritated me a little.The atmosphere was nice and the setting was cool, nice open space and bar.Kid-friendliness: I saw crayons for kids and they had a kids menu, although we didn't have any children with us.Parking: Parking located behind the establishment,there was a nice amount of spots but could use a little more lighting.
