The crab balls were greasy and pretty much tasteless. The garlic mussels didn't taste fresh and left an after taste in my mouth. And, for some weird reason, we were not allowed to share our main dish. We're not coming back here.

Forgot to put in our order. Crab cake sandwich was dry and old tasting. Fries were boardwalk no malt vinegar. Crabs weren’t in season yet. Took way too long for two lunches.

The food preparation met all standards of quality and perfection. The price was fair and reasonable, considering the US economy with the world markets. Shrimp, Blue Crabs, Corn Nuggets - All sourced locally. Thanks to the cook/chef who prepared the order! We enjoyed it!

Love this place. We visit here for dinner twice a year when we are in Rock Hall hunting. The staff are always very friendly and fun, the food is very good and usually comes out quite quickly, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely check this place out! Maddy, Cadence, Nadia and the entire waitstaff are excellent!

If you want the real deal crab experience, this is the place. Crabs here are fresh and prepared amazingly. Simple steam and old bay. The service was about as good as it come, wait staff was friendly and helped us figure out how to best enjoy the crabs all while putting up with our two you boys. Great food experience.

We had a terrible experience at Ford's yesterday. We ordered 2 dozen crabs, a dozen steamed clams, and corn nuggets well in advance. When we arrived to pick it up, we only received one dozen crabs, no corn nuggets, and no melted butter for the clams. We should have checked the bags and counted the crabs rather than trusting them! When we called them immediately about it, they said there were no more crabs, and they don't give melted butter in takeout orders as it could spill - even though they do have containers with lids! Then we found that half of the clans were either missing (just shells) or were full of sand and no clam! It was disgusting. We got a refund for the clams and missing crabs, but we will never go back. How can an order be so completely screwed up? Ugh!

Ford's is a local hide out a mile from the marina area in Rock Hall Landing. The wait staff is friendly and efficient, the menu always has a special or something for half price. Done in take out and orders of steamed crabs

15 of us met up in Rock Hall-(6 flew in from FL) specifically Ford's- to have crabs in celebration of our father(7 of us are his children, 1 grandchild, 5 nieces and nephews) who lived in and loved RH. (Had been Town Manager and started the Rock Hall Times back when). Paid for a bushel plus a dozen ahead of time($380). From the moment we parked- we were disappointed. Small, dank and dark atmosphere. Dirty restroom. Non- accommodating. Young waitress was the best thing there. She tried. Another waitress came out suddenly (after our drink order) and told us they were out of crabs!! We couldn't believe it. Stated we paid for such and such... then the owner came out and stated 'we don't sell bushels for eating in'. Was very angry, and scary. Didn't offer to turn that in to so many dozens of crabs, etc. Instead he let it be known he didn't want to serve us. Told us to go to Watermans(which our dad also loved) AND BOY WERE WE GLAD WE DID! (Thank you Fords!) Sat all together- (no problem!) outside on the water with a breeze and SCENE! Had delicious crabs! Great service! Can't say enough good after such an awful expierence. Our father loved Rock Hall. We all do too.(Had just enjoyed Pirates weekend). We WILL be back and we will happily ride right PAST Fords on our way to Watermans!
