Outdoor dining isn't as friendly as it was before all the changes. It was a relaxing place to come to from PA. A bit too fancy. We were there last summer even the marina wasn't as busy and welcoming as it was before. Sometimes if it's not broken don't try to fix it. In this case nothing needed fixing.

So I have eaten here many times in the past and their soup and food was always good. We have eaten soup, apps, crabs, sandwiches, etc. This time was just ok. The soup was good BUT it was so salty we barely finished it. $10 for really small bowls with a few strands of crabmeat and BEEF. I dont remember ever getting it with beef but I do remember much more crab meat. We ordered a Cheesteak to split. For $14 it was small and they forgot to add lettuce, tomato, and onion. We ate it and it was good but pretty damn salty. The fries good but again salty. Someone take the salt away from the cook. $45 after tip for soup and a split sandwich is disappointing when its not all that good and ruined with salt. Ill be back at some point and see how it goes. Nice view.

We've dined here twice and both times it's been delicious. They have docks you can boat up to which is a plus. The food is fresh and delicious! Don't miss out on their charbroiled oysters and their gumbo!

We enjoyed a wonderful special occasion Sunday dinner meal at Waterman's this afternoon, after having attended the Sultana Downrigging Festival. Waterman's is under new ownership & has a new management team (as of May 2023). You can tell the interior has all been spruced up and re-imagined, and the food and service were wonderful. We were there for a birthday celebration. My friend ordered the prime rib, which she said was really delicious. I had the seafood trio (scallops, crabcake, & shrimp), which was fantastic. They have a nice list of side items to choose from. The views are amazing. The food came out quickly & our server, Keri C., checked on us frequently. The fall foliage was gorgeous, and it was a nice, easy ride up there (coming from Annapolis). Definitely put Waterman's at the top of your list for a day trip. It is a perfect way to end an afternoon cruising through the picturesque Eastern Shore towns of Centerville, Chestertown, & Rock Hall.

We had the PERFECT Saturday Crab Feast at Waterman's. Born and raised on the Eastern Shore we knew Waterman's was the only place we wanted to go. Allen TOTALLY hooked us up with two dozen large blue claws at the end of the season (we were stressing finding a place to commit) and he DELIVERED!!! Keri also called us to make sure someone got in touch with us and that we were taken care of. We had a banquet table with the paper, a bucket, mallet, and a knife and were in total heaven....bring on the beer! Our bartender/waitress Hannah was amazing - so cute and personable - coming out of the gate with the menu and her recommendations...as everyone knows who eats crabs, you need some oysters and fries to go with - otherwise you are going to be hungry in an hour ;). The bar played great music, we ended up talking to locals who were super envious, and their claws were out about not being able to get crabs - you have to plan it!!! But Allen and Hannah (as well as Keri) came over to check on us frequently which was so great....loved every minute of it. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to Waterman's for Crabs but also the buffet (setting up as we were leaving) looked incredible. We will definitely come back and bring family and friends. You will have incredible views from the dining room and a ton of fun sitting in the bar - so win win! We can't thank Allen, Hannah, and Keri enough for their hospitality and generosity. At Waterman's they know how to take care of you - you will NOT be disappointed! Check it out!!!!!

Food was good, but service was not. Ordered a Waterman’s lager and it was served to me in a plastic cup while all those around me were served in glass. Didn’t look or taste like a lager so I asked where Waterman’s was from. Waitress said, “Oh that’s the Octoberfest, the lager is gone. “ Explains why it didn’t seem like the lager I ordered. Guess it was too much trouble to ask me if I wanted something different since the lager was gone. She gave no explanation or apology. NOT OK. We’ll never go back.
Just finished a wonderful meal, the most experienced and friendly service and a beautiful sunset.We cannot say enough about the good feelings emanating from this new and improved Waterman's.We highly recommend you try it again and ask for Stacy to be your server(although all servers were long time employees) or dive in as a new customer and enjoy an evening to remember... you will not be disappointed!

We were willing to try in spite of some what we considered overly negative reviews. We ordered seafood Norfolk, w pasta, the sauce was perfect and crab imperial, both were well prepared and very tasty. Our server was new but had no problems going to the cook to get answers to our questions. She was attentive and sweet.
We just had the best crabs ever at Waterman’s. We ordered the jumbo crabs and they were worth every dollar. Huge and succulent. Kudos to Allen for hand picking each one and for keeping us entertained throughout the meal. Shoutout to Tiffany for personally checking in on us and Harley for her excellent service. Thanks to all for making our annual girls trip so memorable!

I was here for the end of summer crab feast. The crabs were great as well as all of the sides. The service was really what made the evening though!! Caitlyn and Harlie were absolutely amazing! Even though everything was self serve they made sure our beers were full and that we had plenty of crabs on our table! Exceptional service and extremely friendly. If either of them are working you can be sure that you will have a great time!!! I will definitely be back again.

My wife and I flew to Maryland for the weekend for our own Blue Crab Tour! We hit 10 Crab establishments in 2 1/2 days and “Waterman’s Crab House” did not disappoint! There’s several things that make a great crab experience: Service, Atmosphere, Vibes and of course the Crabs. Hands down, Waterman’s Crab House had the biggest, meatiest and best Seasoned crabs on our 10 spot tour! Service was Outstanding from our waitress, bartender and their GM! Great Atmosphere despite the Tropical Storm and was very accommodating because of the Storm! Will definitely be back! Cheers from Texas!
