Great beer and great vibes. It’s kid-friendly , however they need to invest in some high chairs!!!!

7 Locks Brewing is a pretty solid brewery with solid beers (including a variety of beer types for those with different tastes), cheap prices, and friendly people. The staff were helpful and provided recommendations. They also have a wall of board games to choose from, a few other bar games like table shuffleboard, and they have TVs showing sports as well.

Was really excited to visit the taproom, as Surrender is my go-to 6-pack.

Arrived at 2pm on a Sunday and was served by the most apathetic and incompetent bartender I have encountered in some time. Sold me a bottle of the Mezcal Imperial Cream Ale at $16 a pop. I asked how long it would last once I popped the cork and met with a shrug. He didn't bother opening it for me, and when I took it back requesting help, he palmed it off to his colleague. When I asked for the cork, his colleague then informed me it couldn't be recorked and would have to be drunk on premesis.

Do yourself a favor and skip the taproom.

Devil's Alley IPA. A very solid beer. Nice location to hang out, although I often only stop by just to grab some six packs to go.

We recently held our Cheers for Change event at 7 Locks Brewery, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff were friendly, helpful, and easy to work with, making the planning process a breeze. Our guests had a great time, enjoyed the brewery tour, and loved the beer. One guest even inquired about hosting her own event there because she had such a good time! Rockville is lucky to have a small business with such a quality product that supports the local community. Highly recommend!

Came over on a Saturday night around 8. Live band, food truck and the place was banging. Right at the front entrance is a small room with large windows that let you see from the rest of the place that has some table games and a large Jinga that seemed popular.

They have a small parking lot right in front of their place and from there you park on the street which is metered or you can take your chance with the business lots around the area.

The seating inside is long tables, so if you go with a small party, you might share a table. The bathrooms are mixed sexes so that could be good or bad. That seems to keep the lines down and moving.

As for my time there; the place seemed really popular with the locals, almost too popular. The place was bursting, it was too crowded. All the tables were full when I walked in just trying to walk to the bar to start ordering. Got lucky and there was a table at the entrance to the place, which was like a garage door.  People continued to flow in and it was standing room only. As another reviewer stated the band was so loud that it was incredibly difficult to hold a conversation.

I only tried one beer, I was not particularly fond of it. I won't judge them all one the one. I'll just leave it to that. It was similar to a hazy but the aftertaste was more like unrefined alcohol than the biters of a hazy. And getting the the last of the drink there was sediment in the drink.

The place is setup well but it’s it not setup for the over crowding it seems to get. The live bands is a great gig but over powering, and it’s not just me saying so.
