That steamed chicken rice was so good. I recommend it if you're a fan of that.

The food here is passable, the customer service is terrible. They're supposed to provide a fork and napkins, but when you open the bag the food comes in, there's nothing. You have to keep asking, and they only give you one napkin. I mean, hi... very bad service. That's why they only get one star.

Very disappointing experience. We came in as two people and were rudely told by the male server to sit at a tiny table right by the door, where it was cramped and uncomfortable. Later, another group of two walked in and was given a spacious four-person table inside, which felt completely unfair. Food service was also very slow — we only ordered two dishes and still waited about 30 minutes, with plates brought out one by one. On top of that, ordering was misleading: when I asked for Hainan chicken, the server only mentioned “half” or “whole,” without explaining there was a smaller portion available. Overall, poor service, long waits, and unfair treatment make this a place I would not recommend.

This is one of my favorite restaurants ever. I’m Brazilian and one day I visited this restaurant when I was living nearby and it had just opened (2017 I think). Me and my family always went there for some good food!

In 2023, when I was no longer living in the US but was traveling there, I had a 10h flight but the first place I wanted to go eat was Bite of China.

That is how much I love this restaurant! All the staff is amazing and the food is simply delicious!!

This place is great for some real Chinese food. It's small, but it's worth the wait.

Without doubt, a bite of China is the most authentic Cantonese food in the whole DMV area.

Food is fresh, tasty and authentic. Definitely not your typical Chinese- American joint. No gooey brown sauces here!

They have massive numbers of menu items and options. Everything is super fresh and delicious! They always put out the Specials menu outside of the front door. They are always super busy during the weekend and only take reservations for 5-6 groups of people. During the weekend the waiting time normally 30-60 minutes for dining in. But their to-go were always good. Some of the items online were no longer available, will need to double check with them.

A Bite of China is great if you're looking for comforting Cantonese food in the Rockville area. I enjoyed the flavorful Hainan Chicken & Rice paired with dipping sauces. I haven’t tried other items on the menu.

The restaurant itself is casual—good for a low-key dinner or a meal with friends and family.

Great service and location. The beef Chow fun is good. Only the chicken is not use the fresh chicken. It can tell they use the frozen chicken. Will go back to try other dishes

Ordered $130 worth of dishes. Restaurant worker wrongfully gave an different order (orange chicken) to the delivery person. A waste of time and money.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant through their app at 11:28 AM, and the estimated pick-up time was 11:48 AM. When I arrived, the guy at the counter said they had just received my order and that it would be ready in 20 minutes. I came back after 20 minutes, and my food was still not ready. I had to wait almost another 20 minutes, making the total wait time nearly an hour from when I placed the order.

What made the experience worse was the terrible service. There was no apology, and the staff's attitude made it seem like the delay was my fault. The lack of accountability and courtesy was frustrating. With so many dining options in the area, this kind of service is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they seriously improve their customer service. Plenty of other restaurants on the Pike offer better experiences.

I don’t know how i missed this place. Great Cantonese in Rockville. I would normally go to Noodle King for my Cantonese food fix but it nice to know there a good place near by in Rockville.
