Solid option for some authentic dim sum, some nice selection for one person or to share, I highly recommend the braised pork on rice and the A&J wonton soup, you will not be disappointed with those options.The staff is friendly and helpful, and it's a great lunch spot if you are in the area and not too pricey either.And of course the scallion pancake is delicious.

I grew up eating here in Taiwan. There are so many things on the menu that I love but I didn't get to try them. Just had the pan fried beef bun and turnip pastry. Loved the beef bun it tastes like home but I am not in love with the turnip pastry as the pastry was too thick and bit dry.

Stopped by here on a Friday evening around 7:30 and while the restaurant felt chaotic, the food was great! We all ordered a bunch of things to try and it was all delicious, minus the steamed dumplings. The spicy beef soup was SO GOOD and even better because it was freezing outside! The thing that didn't sit right with me was the food was coming out one thing at a time. I know, I know, some people might like that they are getting food fresh as it's done cooking but I generally am the type of person to wait for the whole table to get their food before eating and we were waiting about 10 min before everyone got what they ordered. Regardless of this, I will definitely be back! The food is super flavorful!

They serve you tea prior to getting your food. Absolutely loved the scallion pancake and pork dumplings! The Dan Dan noodles were tasty too. We took home leftovers. Tried the vegetarian delight which wasn't what I was expecting-- thought there would be more veggies-- but that's totally on me for not asking. My friend tried the spare ribs but she wasn't really a fan bc of the rice powder. She did enjoy her steamed pork bun. The bubble tea was fair, but they are other flavors to try! Would definitely come back and try more items on their extensive menu!

I'm Chinese. Very authentic. Food always comes out hot, which is important to me. They used to take cash only but I recently heard they started taking credit cards, which would be great since no one really carries cash anymore, including me. Recommend!
Stumbled across this gem and it's made it to the favorites list. We walked in and were greeted immediately. We got seated with a menu and got complimentary tea (thumbs up and loved it). We had a laminated menu and a paper menu with a pencil. After studying the menu it didn't take long to pick something out of the many options that all sounded good. ORDER: * Spicy Beef (wide) Noodles * The spicy beef noodles aren't too spicy to the point it's unbearably spicy. I encourage everyone to try it. I asked for the wide noodles when I noticed there's an option of thinner and wide noodles. This noodle and beef soup was delicious. The hot spicy oils blended into a soup. The noodles were generous portions and the beef; tender. I would have loved more meat to balance out the noodle portions. In the soup you can find green onions and bok choy. * Fried Pork Chops with Rice * I was pleasantly surprised the pork chop was perfectly fried. The light golden brown crisp wasn't too thick or thin. It had the perfect consistency of crisp in my opinion(not too batters or not battered enough). It came with fresh rice, some diced cabbage bites. SIDES: * Cucumber Salad * This side was great. It was sliced cucumber marinated in a hot oil, sesame oil, hot pepper and fresh garlic. I love garlic and the oils so this was highly enjoyable. Why didn't I think of this marinate (?). * Pork Dumplings * Typical pork dumplings - highly recommend SERVICE: Great - the staff were friendly and constantly checked on you. SUMMARY: In summary, I love A&J! I'm so glad I found this place and gave it a try. I love the fact it's a small daily restaurant full of might!

A&j is an amazing place to come for some Chinese fare. It's a cozy place with a good amount of seating and the staff has always been so nice. You order by circling on the paper menu and giving it to the server. Keep in mind this place is cash only! The prices are amazing especially since more and more things these days are increasing in price. I think their stars are definitely any of the noodle dishes, my personal favorite is the dandan mian. Their noodles are always so chewy and perfectly cooked. When you receive the food, mixing it is my favorite part because you get to just coat every noodle in that thick peanut/sesame sauce. I also had the beef noodle soup and the broth is just so dark and rich and nostalgic for me. They have a few options to pick what kind of meat you'd like in the soup and I just went for the basic option. I always have to order their cucumber dish! It's so refreshing and the cucumbers are always so fresh and crunchy. The portions here are fairly large and we had to get takeout boxes!

I had dinner here with my husband and had take out for the kids. Authentic Chinese food. It takes a second to get used to the new flavors but it is very good. Very large selection of soups. The spare ribs were very different to anything we've had before but they were good! Didn't care too much for the pork and mustard green noodle soup (found it kinda bland) but when we added a little bit of spicy and soy it was tasty. It has a good price.
