I can only comment on the pizza here however was very disappointed with the quality. Ordered the margarita pizza and it had a few tiny scraps of basil on top of it. Both pizzas we ordered were quite dry with very little tomato sauce. The crust seemed like amateur homemade pizza and was not fitting of a fancy looking Italian restaurant, or the price that was charged for the pizza.

We ordered for delivery. Simple sausage mushrooms & onion pizza. The pizza was way smaller than we hoped, under cooked & ice cold. Very unpleased with our dinner.

It was a very mediocre experience. What was good? They had an off menu red which was wonderful and my sea bass (?) was excellent. Not so good? The bread wasn't great, the lasagna had over done, soggy noodles and too much cheese so was a mess on the plate and the cheese sampler arrived with refrigerator cold cheese when cheese almost always should be served at room temperature. Finally, we tried to use an AMEX gift card and were told gift cards don't work at restaurants. Our bill was $90 so we left our $100 gift card plus another $10 cash. When they came back to tell us they couldn't use the gift card, they brought back the card but not the cash. I paid with my usual card and it was awkward to only leave a $10 tip when $20 on a $90 tab is a generous tip when the food wasn't very good. Finally, no one asked us how the meal was at any point or I would have pointed out what was good and not so good as I hate to leave reviews that aren't excellent.

They say that Italian cooking is encapsulated by the idea of “keeping it simple” - this restaurant took that idea a little too seriously. To start, we got the $15 prosciutto appetizer to which they brought out just 4 slices of prosciutto. We also got a cheese appetizer that came with 2 sorry looking slices of cheese with 3 almonds that looked like a 10 year old plated it. For the prosciutto, this price isn’t justified considering the meat had a pungent refrigeration taste and was clearly not fresh. I actually slice fresh prosciutto at my home and what they served is indicative of old meat. They also brought out cold, store bought slices of bread and poured olive oil on our plates. No seasoning of any kind, imagine eating Safeway bread doused in a naked olive oil. I ordered the special seafood gnocchi and there was nothing special about it. The portion was laughable, which is crazy because the gnocchi was cheap and store-bought (if the picture isn’t convincing, just know the plate is flat, not concave, so what you see is what you get). The worst part about it all is that the peas that were included in the dish weren’t all the way thawed, hard and cold like they accidentally put 30 seconds on the microwave instead of 45. Their entrees are akin to those instant meals you can find in the frozen section at any grocery store. The reason I’m not giving a zero-star if I could is because honestly, the saffron cake dessert was quite good, and is worth mentioning. Nonetheless, in my opinion, this restaurant justifies their semi-high prices by trying to sell the “Italian experience” but most native Italians will know how far off this place is from true Italian cuisine. This place is far overrated and it seems like most good reviews are friends with the owner.

I've written several reviews of Amici Miei in the past 7 years; they have all been great, and this one s no exception. Roberto put together a great specials menu for the weekend and then had to modify it because some of his first list sold out! He served Veal Osso Bucco for the first time in about 2-3 years; I submitted an online request for mine 5-6 hours ahead of time fearing they might run out, and I was right. It was beyond wonderful! And he substituted Beef Carpaccio as a special at the last minute, and of course, it was fantastic. This is a great restaurant with an owner and a chef who really know how to please people. It's a great place to dine anytime, but if you ever see that the specials include Osso Bucco, get there early and you will be guaranteed a wonderful dinner.

Excellent dinner and service in an unassuming setting exceeded our expectations.Chicken, lamb chops, Atlantic char, eggplant parmigiana, Cesar salad, and tiramisu were all delicious. The owner enhanced our experience by discussing the Sardinian style of cooking and guiding our choices. We will definitely return.

I recently started going back to Amici Miei and found nothing short of terrific. The pasta with Bolognese a sauce was just what you expect from me high-end restaurant. And there's a special, veal stew, was fantastic. The veal was perfectly cooked, succulent, flavorful and in a excellent stew of vegetables. Service is a little slow but that is the norm today. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Any server there will happily wait on you. I would still go back without hesitation and look forward to many return visits.

Good food and a big attempt by the owner and few staff to provide an excellent experience. Like all restaurants you can quickly see the result of limited number of employees but they handled it well

So glad we decided to try somewhere new in town center. Service was great. Everyone was super friendly. We got calamari for an app, eggplant Parmesan and a sausage pizza for our entrees. The eggplant was good, but the little side of spaghetti it came with was PHENOMENAL. It's just spaghetti. I never eat spaghetti let alone order it in a restaurant. It has no business being that good. The next time we visit I am probably just going to get a bowl of spaghetti. Anyway. Calamari was great. Lightly breaded, sauce was really good. My husbands pizza looked amazing, I tried a bite and would definitely try the pizza next time.

Service was excellent . Food was awesome . We were a party of 8. Portion size is not too bad . We had one bad experience with the pasta for one of our guests ( she chewed on to something that was not part of the food ) they apologised & took out the price even though we told them no .. ( we gave back that as added $ to tip ) Food 10 stars .. excellent .

Hmm... honestly the service was lacking. That is what I'll remember about this place. It gives me family business vibes which is cool. But I was really underwhelmed by the service. I came at a very slow time, 8pm on a Wednesday night. It took forever to get my dessert and I ordered a drink at the beginning and had to remind the waiter about it. So not sure if I'll come back anytime soon. But it was good to get out of the house. Food rating 7/10.

Delicious. Just the right amount of food. The owner greeted us at the door in Italian and sat us himself. Low-key atmosphere (a picture of Sophia Loren greets you at the entrance) with a big brick oven in the back. They could probably add some more Italian atmosphere but it's perfectly enjoyable as is. We had the salmon, the sea bass and the shrimp and salmon over rigatoni which was a special. We cleaned our plates. P.S. Be sure to get the bread and olive oil to start off. I'm hard-pressed to remember better bread. Will be back for sure.
