I met friends for brunch here on Saturday. Shoutout to Lisa, our server, who was fantastic! We all ordered bottomless beverages and she was quick with the refills. The sangria was the best though the bottomless drinks offered included mimosas and bloody Mary’s.There aren’t many places for brunch in Montgomery county and I’m so glad we dined at this one. We will be back!Parking: This is close to a Safeway though it’s probably not welcome to park there. I took the bus and walked from 355 which was 9 minutes - plenty of street parking if you are OK walking

My family and I attended the Drag Brunch and oh my goodness what a time! The food was good, the drinks were great, but the show!? What. A . BLAST! I can't remember the last time I had that much fun. Nubian and Cora were amazing hosts and kept us laughing and dancing. I can't thank all the ladies enough who performed yesterday and even had my aunty dancing! Woo! We will never forget this brunch. Will definitely be back!!

This is one of our top 5 fav spots close to home. The food is always delicious, the sangria pitchers never disappoint and the dessert is just yum. We bring friends here to try the flaming shrimp and everyone always has a great time.

Had dinner at Botanero restaurant in Rockville, Maryland. It is a small plate menu which offers many choices. We made our reservation via OpenTable, showed up early, and they were able to accommodate us.Menu consist of flatbread and dips, salads and vegetables, charcuterie and cheese, seafood, poultry and meats. A large section in each. For dinner tonight we started with the hummus spread. Loved the roasted carrots on top, and the hummus was excellent. Next we had the Beef Brisket (Chef Special), Deviled Eggs, Shrimp Tempura and Beef Empanadas. We passed on the.Brussel Sprouts, but the table next to us ordered them, and they look delicious. The deviled eggs were my favorite, followed by the beef empanadas. The deviled eggs were spicy and melted in your mouth. The beef empanadas Came with a citrus aïoli, which was excellent. For dessert, we had another chef special, which was the White Chocolate Lava Cake. It was so good, I could have eaten two. For drinks, we had a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, coffee, and lemonade. The service by Roger A was outstanding. When I asked, made several recommendations, and was very attentive. Until Roger pointed it out to me, I had no clue there was even a second section of the restaurant, which was even larger than the first. There is a sit down bar as well.In the main dining section, it is a little tight, but that is fine with me. Parking is street parking and some lots nearby.Overall a good dining experience with great service. We will go back.Enjoy!Vegetarian options: Large section of salad and vegetablesDietary restrictions: Menu identifies selections made with gluten-free ingredients. they can also accommodate changes to some of the selectionsParking: Street parking and some parking lots around the area.Wheelchair accessibility: Although the tables are tight together, it is wheelchair accessible.

Went with a girlfriend to celebrate her Birthday the food was amazingly delicious. We had spinach empanadas, ceviche, beet salad, and artichoke flatbread. The service was great and look forward to going there again soon!

Service and food time was pretty slow. Yes, it was Sunday brunch, but zero table communication to the table is kind of a no Brainerd. Just tell us you're in the weeds. Food however, spot in and perfect. Great coffee/cappuccino.

Amazing food and service! We can't wait to go back. Kind of a random spot in Rockville, but well worth the trip.

The food was delicious. The atmsophere was great! Our waitress was delightful. Very friendly and made good recommendations in terms what drinks we might like and some great appetizers. We were visiting the area and decided to try the this restaurant. We were not disappointed!

I first visited here on Thursday, February 8, 2024. I arrived at around 4:45pm to snag seats for happy hour with good friends. I was the first client for the evening. Immediate impression - the place is clean, modern, with lots of natural light coming in. Service was great! Our server Daniel gave us good recommendations on meals that are either popular/well liked and good for sharing among three people. He made sure to refill our waters, and he gave us just enough space and attention (not hovering but also not forgetting about us). Food was absolutely delicious. Don't know where to start. - Truffle Mac and Cheese was an elevated take on the classic mac and cheese. Loved that the flavor profile with the mushrooms and truffle oil (you have to like truffle oil)! Also, it was cheesy creamy but not soggy. - It's hard to go wrong with the Parmesan Truffle Fries. It was a nice sized appetizer that was excellent for sharing. - Empanadas. The beef was the table favorite. The chicken isn't anything to write home about, but still decadent. What rounded out the empanadas were the sauces - the sauces brought out the flavors. - Grilled Flatbread was also delicious. Just the right amount of crisp on the bread and a good mix of flavors on the top. For me personally, I felt that there was too many items on top of the bread but that is a personal preference. - Drinks. My friends and I were pleased with our drink orders. I had the Sotomonte Verdejo wine went well with everything. My friends enjoyed their respective drinks of Pineapple Martini and Sparkling Sangria. The prices were reasonable for Happy Hour! All in all, we got five small plates that were shared among the three of us. The dishes were decently sized that left us feeling full. By 6pm, the place was packed. It was easy to see why. Great service. Great food selections. Good happy hour specials. Classy but not pretentious. And reasonable prices. Lots of free street parking in the area. Highly recommend!

Our second visit and we were again amazed at how good the food was in terms of quality/taste, presentation and value. We will be back many more times! So glad we stumbled upon this KingsFarm gem!

We have been to Botanero 4-5 times, but this time was a #fail. Our waiter (who was also a bartender, so clearly overworked) made several big mistakes in our order. And more than a few times, we had to ask another waiter or the hostess to ask our waiter to come back to our table so we could correct a mistake or order more food. And then it took forever for him to come over with the check. It was a first visit to Botanero for two of our guests and I was genuinely embarrassed that I had recommended the restaurant.

Excellent restaurant for small plates. Very good value for the money in a pleasant, casual setting.
