“After a long workday, my boss and I stopped by Brazilian Bakery in Silver Spring — a casual spot serving authentic Brazilian comfort food like sandwiches, pastries, and snacks.

I went for a Coxinha, that golden, teardrop-shaped classic filled with shredded chicken and creamy cheese, perfectly fried with a crisp shell and a soft, flavorful center. Then came the X-Tudo — a monster of a burger stacked with beef, bacon, ham, egg, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, crispy potato sticks, and mayo. It’s one of those sandwiches that demands both hands and full commitment. I washed it all down with an ice-cold Guaraná Antarctica, because when in a Brazilian bakery, that’s just the move.

Everything hit the spot — rich, hearty, and full of flavor. The kind of meal that slows you down for a minute, but in the best way.

“Music was loud for 11am, food is fabulous quality for a food court. There appears to be a pool table and a selection of games as well as ample seating. It is definitely a bit nicer and fresher than Commas, most food cooked fresh to order. The bar being open so early is questionable but that comes with the massive caveat that I personally do not drink for health reasons and for that reason do not understand bar/drinking culture and prefer not to be around it.“
