I was better off throwing 150.00 out the window. It was my first time so I ordered standard. Not ONE crab had meat and crabs were cracked. I was literally shipped a bag of shells and small legs! I will never buy from this place again! I will be submitting reviews on other platforms. This goes to show that website design and prices mean absolutely nothing! I’m so upset.

I placed an online order for a half bushel each of large female and male crabs. After reading the description on their website about how the crabs are caught fresh and are immediately steamed and seasoned. They’re then packaged and delivered. I was excited to receive the crabs. My order was made on Nov. 23 and I was supposed to receive them on Nov. 28. They didn’t arrive until Nov. 29. There was a delay on the part of UPS. After opening the package I saw the male crabs looked OK but the female crabs didn’t look all that good. Some of the shells were broken up and most of them had the legs and claws broken off with them scattered in the bag the crabs were packed in. I think the female crabs were stuffed too tight in the bag and the crabs got broken up because of this. But that wasn’t the worst of it. I went ahead and steamed a few of the male and female crabs as the instructions said for about 15 min. As I removed the shell I immediately see that the meat doesn’t look fresh at all. The meat was a dark colour. It should be white. The meat had no texture. Although the male crabs were a decent size there was no meat inside them. I’m not sure if the crabs were steamed for way too long or if the crabs were bad (dead) before they got steamed. They tasted horrible !!! Dry, no flavor, not flakey and very very salty. The male crabs were empty inside. There was hardly any meat. Normally there should be a good sized piece of lump meat by the hind leg area. There was none. Barely anything there. Look at the last two pictures. I’m thinking these are bad (dead) crabs !!7 For the price I paid I was expecting something decent according to their website. What I got was trash !!!! Was it because I ordered in November and the stock was low ? Or is this the quality of their product year round ? I am very disappointed with my order. Not sure if I’d order again and see if I get a decent batch of crabs. Not sure if I’d recommend this place to others as well. I hope the owners read this and respond with an explanation.

What kind of place sells crabcakes at $50 a piece? There is no way a crab cake could ever be worth that much and I'm from the area. At that price they still charge shipping as well lol

Bought 1 dozen #1 male and 1 dozen #2 mixed. Very disappointed. They are light and almost empty. Blue crabs are supposed to be heavy and fatty in October.

Bought 6 lb of frozen legs, which they steamed after I purchased them. Weighed them at home and only found 4 lbs. They sold me 2 lbs of ice at $25+ per lb. Really? 1/3 of my purchase. This is not fare.

My family and I have ordered seafood from Cameron’s for over 12 years. We love everything we have eaten. The crab cakes are superb! The Shrimps are delicious. We have had great and fresh fish such as, salmon, cod, trout etc…. All the food is well prepared with rice, French fries, and vegetables. Cameron’s is one of our favorite places to eat.
