I had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and freshly made. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and their service made the visit even better. The place has a warm and comfortable atmosphere too. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to others!

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. They serve authentic chettinad food. The staff including the owner are very courteous and friendly. I love visiting this place. The food is great and the ambience is great too.

Chettinadu Indian Restaurant in Rockville is truly a hidden gem! Since my last visit, they’ve completely overhauled the ambience, and it looks amazing—modern yet still cozy and welcoming.

We tried Chicken Sukka, Chicken Kothamalli, Chicken 65, Chana Masala, and the Bread Basket. Every dish was packed with authentic flavors and spices that really stood out. Honestly, the food was so good that we didn’t just enjoy it—we loved it so much we’ve already been coming back a few times in the past couple of months.

The Chicken Kothamalli and Chicken Sukka, in particular, are my absolute favorites. Bold, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.

I’ll definitely be back again to explore more of their menu. If you’re looking for authentic South Indian food with great taste and a refreshed ambience, this spot is a must-visit in Rockville.

Overall experience was great; food was yummy including all the sides and chutney's that was served. customer service was very good as well. we tried Dosa's, Biriyani, Aadu chukka, Tandori chicken, Crab meat podimas(Nandu varuval), chettinad chicken, each and everyone of them was fresh, accurate spice level as you order and all of them tasted yum, kids and adults alike enjoyed a happy meal. Would highly recommend all the south Indian items on the menu.
