Soy Garlic wings and spring rolls. The chicken was very juicy and fresh. Could've been a little more crunchy but still tasty. The spring rolls were good. If in the area, I would definitely go again.

Gluten free crispy chicken. Breading made from corn. Chef came out of kitchen to describe gluten free ingredients and was very informed. Had 5 drummies and they were large enough could only finish 3 for lunch. It took 15 mins to cook since orders made fresh and came out steaming hot. Super crisp breading and the garlic sauce perfect. Came with side of pickled radish. There are at least 3 other korean chicken places in Rockville but none are gluten free. Ready to go back. $13 seemed expensive for 5 pieces but with big drummies good for 2 meals. Dining area bright and spotless.

Great gluten free fried chicken. Chef came out of the kitchen to discuss gluten free breading made from corn. Chicken made to order so took 15 mins but was really crisp an moist inside. Had garlic flavor with a side of raddish. Price seemed high for lunch, but $13 got 5 huge drummies that are good for 2 meals. There are other korean chicken places in Rockville but this is the only gluten free. I'll be back to try the other flavors.

My wife and I were so happy to find out that Gama reopened in Rockville from their original location in Merrifield, VA. We were sad when they closed down in Merrifield as they had the best Korean Fried Chicken in the area. We would always go there every week for their onion chicken.Their chicken is cooked consistently to perfection and super crispy. Their radish sauce also is unique and enhances the flavor of the chicken as well. They look like they've downsized from their location and no longer focus on a sit down restaurant experience which in my opinion was the right move.

Some of the best chicken wings I've had! We got the hot and the soy garlic and both were absolutely delicious!

This place used to be CM Chicken, but has switched to GAMA Chicken. It’s very misleading to have this sort of full-menu swap while maintaining old reviews. I think the new setup is clearly inferior, as we’ve lost interesting menu items like Tikkudak and cheese fries in favor of more mainstream chicken sandwiches. The wing flavor choices are also scarce.I order soy garlic drumsticks and a hot chicken sandwich. The soy garlic chicken was decent, and had good breading, but could be a bit more intense flavor-wise. The sandwich was hefty, and I liked the bread they use. I would say that Roaming Rooster beats this sandwich out flavor-wise but I appreciate the uniqueness of the flavor profile - it was sweeter, almost like a spicy soy garlic sandwich. I definitely got my money’s worth on the sandwich. The drumsticks were borderline, since they were $15 for 5, but value is still not bad.The food was decent, and I’ll probably be back because the wings still beat Bonchon in this local area, but the loss of CM chicken stings.

I recently checked out this new Gama chicken, and it was very good! The chicken wing was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and they had a bunch of different sauces to choose from like soy garlic, spicy hot sauce, extra hot sauce, and plain fried wings. Also the Snow-onion sweet sauce was well worth to try, too. The place itself was also really clean and bright, which made for a nice atmosphere. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving this spot a try if you're in the mood for some tasty Korean fried chicken.

CM chicken was converted to GAMA chicken. The quality of chicken went down. The prices went up. No more lunch specials... Do yourself a favor and go to Hangry Joe's, right across the street. The difference in quality between the amazing chicken sandwich at Hangry Joe's, and the pathetic sandwich at GAMA chicken is frankly absurd.

YUM! A true hidden gem. I’m a huge fan of chicken sandwiches and this one does not disappoint. Fresh and juicy, perfectly seasoned, and great flavor! Will be back … maybe too often ?

New menu is nothing like the previous menu from Choongman chicken. I ordered takeout because I thought the chicken would be the same, but it isn’t. Misleading to have GAMA Chicken shown as a result after searching for Choongman Rockville on google/yelp.I think I spoke to the owner when I asked if their sweet onion chicken would be the same as the snow onion chicken from the previous menu, and he assured me it was supposed to be even better because the new ingredients are imported from Korea. Was excited to try the food when I got home, but we were left very disappointed. Gonna stick to Bonchon now or might have to travel to Germantown to order from CM chicken.

They changed owners even the name of the store changed. It used to be called CM Chicken (which was amazing) and now it's GAMA Korean Chicken which is greasy, lacking in seasoning and just ugh. It's just not good. Maybe I had them on an off day but I was throughly disappointed especially because I was craving CM's soy garlic wings which were so delicious, crunchy and the perfect mix of savory and sweet. When I got to the location in Rockville I realized the name had changed but I thought that would be all. Thought the flavors and quality would be the same but NOPE. Ugh. Any review/pic that is from summer of 2022 and earlier is for CM Chicken. If a review is from fall of 2022 and later then it's for GAMA which again, is just not as good and doesn't have as many options as CM used to have. Tread with caution. Don't say I didn't warn you.

It definitely changed. It's Gama now, Not CM Chicken anymore. The chicken comparing it to CM Chicken isn't the same. The flavor is not the same and the chicken sandwich is questionable. The sandwich is a decent size but the main issue is the flavor itself... there's little to non. I hope it improves somewhere in the future

Stopped in the area to get my son some food. I didn’t want what he was having so I looked around and saw Gama. This was a surprise find. I had the absolute best chicken sandwich of my life. Fresh chicken, great flavor, fantastic toppings. It was so good I have been thinking about it at every meal since then. I did not know I needed this in my life, but I will be back soon.Parking: There was ample parking in the lot. A little tight to navigate but I had plenty to choose from.

The chicken here is fantastic! I find myself eating here at least once a week and find everything on the menu very delicious. The service is also excellent and the restaurant is very clean. I definitely recommend eating here.

Their snow onion chicken is widely superior to any other fried chicken I’ve tried before. The spicy and garlic are good too but you gotta try the snow onion ?
