Moldy ham & cheese croissant 🤮. I want to crawl out of my skin.

The service and atmosphere are fine but the coffee is mid. I ordered an 8oz cappuccino and it was just okay. It looks like they sell a lot of drinks that aren't really about the coffee and are more about the flavoring, sugar based additives, etc. This is sadly all too typical around these parts. Just another east coast coffee disappointment.

Great feel from first step inside. The staff was receptive and welcoming. You could tell the locals enjoy the place. Great place to catch up on some reading.

I'm not from the area, but I usually stop by here in the afternoon for a latte and a snack to avoid 495 traffic for an evening meeting in Rockville. The back corner, along with the comfy couches, gives me a homey feel. With my noise-canceling headphones on, I can get into the zone and get some work done.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The decorations are a mixture of different styles put together, but it's comfy, so I like it. I wish there were more selections of snacks and pastries to choose from. I have nothing to complain about the coffee's taste. It's spot on. I notice everyone was given paper cups even for sitting in. Maybe they ran out of actual cups or need to wash them.

You'll have to parallel park if you managed to get a good spot. Otherwise, you'll be parking far to walk here. I think the parking lot nearby allows 2 hours max. I haven't been hungry enough to go for the breakfast burritos, so I cannot comment on that yet. I will update my review as I come back more.

Inconsistent service….. The best coffee shop in Rockville/Gaithersburg. Their aztec mocha is my favorite!

The wait can be really long sometimes even if it doesn’t seem busy. Most times my drink tastes great but a few times I can tell an ingredient has been left out and it has been undrinkable. Overall though it is a solid place to get a drink.

Super chill spot to grab a coffee and get some work done. The vibe is casual, the staff are super friendly, and I loved that they asked if I wanted my croissant warmed up. Thank you! Would definitely come back.

Was lucky enough to find this awesome place in a recent trip. coffee was awesome, and the ham and cheese croissant was so flaky and delicious. staff was super nice

Coffee Republic is a nice spot. I enjoyed their cinnamon toast muffin and a London Fog both were pretty good. The cafe boasts a charming interior and convenient outdoor seating. With a wide selection of bakery treats and an extensive drink menu, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
