Don't usually post reviews but I'm tired of this place. Literally the best boba I can find in the DMV so it's become my go-to. But two times now, they give me a coupon, then by the time I show up, they change the coupon dates or the discount. So annoying showing up expecting to use a coupon and then having to have a super awkward conversation with the cashier. Management clearly is changing things after the fact and not sending out notifications of the coupon change. Super greedy and shady practice. From now on, walking out if they pull this stunt again.

This is my go to neighborhood bubble tea place. Nicely set up inside, with solid consistency in their drinks. My jasmine milk tea has a smooth mouth feel and good tea flavor, with no digestion issues for someone with lactose intolerance. My fav addiction 🧋

Just like many others are reviewing, I received a text with a free drink birthday offer and the staff was very rude and did not honor it. I could have been understanding if they apologized for the misunderstanding but they did not and rude. The fact that this has been brought up multiple times in the comments and the owner is responding shows that they are not fixing the issue with their texting service offering the free drink and also not asking their staff to be less rude to customers.

I've got a message from Ding Tea Rockville about a free drink for my Birthday. Two rude Ding Tea's employees told me that they are completely unaware of any Birthday drinks and any loyalty program. Their behavior was far away from professional or simply polite. Such a shame, since my family and myself were their loyal customers for a few years...

This was our first time visiting Ding Cafe in Rockville. It was absolutely amazing! There was an endless list of delicious choices: teas, smoothies and snacks, all carefully prepared by the owner and staff, who were kind and professional. The teas were healthy and delicious and so were the hot, fresh waffles. We highly recommend this experience. The ambiance is wonderful and the owners are friendly and generous to their customers.

Once I walked in, I was greeted by Hip he took our order, and he was very patient and friendly. The atmosphere was great. The ecstatic of the shop was nice. I will definitely be back!!

Came here on a Saturday evening. Plenty of free parking and indoor seating. Great atmosphere in the shop. There's a foosball table and a photo booth in the shop. Ordered a signature milk tea slush with 30% sugar, and an aloe vera passion fruit 30 % sugar. The milk tea slush was good, tasty tea flavoring. The aloe vera passion fruit was too sweet even with 30% sugar. Would probably stick with the milk tea products with low sugar in the future.

I come here probably 1 or 2 times every week. The owner and all the workers there are absolutely amazing, very welcoming. Their drinks are amazing! Recommend wintermelon green tea, if you like bittersweet taste of jasmine like me. Coconut coffee, Hokkaido Oolong milk tea are also very good.

This place and Teazzi are my two favorite bubble or boba tea places in the DC area. At Ding Tea I'm a huge fan of the aloe vera teas. I have had a couple of different flavors and they are all really good. I add boba to the chunks of aloe vera that's already a part of the drink. I have ordered the Monster Boba Latte for a couple of people and they were very impressed. The milk teas have been a hit too; get the wintermelon milk tea and the taro milk tea. Looking forward to coming back here and trying more of the menu. The workers are always friendly and they have great suggestions, so ask them questions if you have any.
