You know, I have come back to El Mariachi after about one year and, I am sorry to say, that the restaurant is not doing well. The food is still solid - except for the salsa that is too liquid-y and has WAY too many onions. The food is okay. But, this time, the service was really not good at all. Wait times were long. Nobody took ownership of our table even though there were many wait staff standing around. Most of them were on their phones and not paying attention. That kept us hungry for far too long after we sat down and it kept us thirsty for too many times after we were eating. When we received service, it was short, just enough to do the job without so much as a smile, a greeting or often any words at all. The only time the waiter was pleasant was when he delivered the bill and it was time to consider a tip. I hate that when it happens that way. I have worked in restaurants all my life and it should NOT be this way. I am sorry to say that this will probably be my last time to El Mariachi. I cannot recommend it to anyone.

A Mexican restaurant with some surprises. One of us got cajun jambalaya. Not Mexican. Not bad. I wasn't looking for a touch of New Orleans, but they nailed the sauce, with chicken and shrimp cooked just right. Our other dishes were traditional: shrimp fajitas and chicken fajitas. Again properly cooked and seasoned. Plenty of components to add into the tortilla wrapper. We finished with tres leches dessert. Moist and sweet as it was designed. Is 4 stars harsh? I based it on other Mexican restaurants that are on this level. For 5 stars, I needed them to be a cut above.

Food was not good ordered a chile relleno was disappointed had a lot of oil then at the end one of the waiters said next time you have to leave us tip and then he smiled and ran inside very disappointed with the service price is to much and not as good food chips and salsa was good tried to call and speak with the manager to talk with his team and the same guy answered and said I can here you trying to be stupid I was by myself and very disappointed

Got chicken steak fajitas combo and chicken tacos al carbon. Everything was flavorful with that carbon taste without the burnt aspect. The fresh, thiiiiiin tortilla chips and fresh salsa were too good; asked for more without extra charge! The ambiance was cute with intermittent white picket fencing lining the dining area, white tablecloth and napkins, silverware etc. My only regret is not going sooner, having lived nearby my whole life!Parking: Flat parking lot in shopping center mixed mostly restaurants and some retail that always has some parking

My wife got food poisoning and was sick for two days after eating a vegetarian burrito there. They obviously don't have a clean kitchen and served contaimenated food.

Amazing steak fajitas! Mole enchiladas and chicken tamales were great too. Not a bad bite in the whole meal. Service was attentive and wonderful. Very pleased with the portions versus the price. Great dinner all together!

VERY POOR SERVICE. Waiter is not attentive. We waited 40 minutes for our food to be serve. I have to ask a waiter to send our waiter. When I asked about our food he said that my food has been ready but the other orders they are still cooking. I told him to box my food as I have to go back to work . He turn around and came back right away to serve the food. Obviously the food was cooked and ready to be serve but it took him a long time to serve. If you are planning to go to this restaurant think twice as their service is BAD. ????

I was with friends celebrating birthday(s) the first week of October. When the orders were received from waiter (AB) he gave me what he thought I ordered. No that was not what I ordered. He became confrontational as I sat there not accepting his order. His behavior was toxic. The manager, apologized but No recourse for the longtime employee. As they smiled, chuckled in the restaurant together. I stayed because we were celebrating.
