I had such a wonderful time at El Mercat! The service was exceptional, and Wendel, the manager, was fantastic—always on top of everything and ensuring we had a great experience. Izzy, our server, was also amazing, providing attentive and friendly service. The food was absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed dinner at El Mercat while on date night with my beautiful bride. We loved the atmosphere and cozy feel. The service was very good and the food was satisfying, but missed in a few spots. The pulpo was good, but overcooked and chewy. The patatas were excellent but slightly heavy on the sauce. The pimientos needed a little more of a char, I felt. Our other food items were tasty and on point. We will definitely go back and try some new things while enjoying some wine or sangria.

Fantastic small tapas bar w/amazing happy hour menu! I enjoyed the torta, shishito pepper & calamari, but the standouts were the patatas bravas & the bacon wrapped figs stuffed w/goat cheese. Vibe definitely fits for date night, group outing or brunch. Food came out right away. I was so hungry, I didn't take pics but presentation was excellent.

I was very excited to try their squid ink sauce paella, ended up ordering the Mariscos with an additional $3 for the squid ink sauce
(smallsize)for27. Unfortunately, the rice was excessively salty, which really took away from the overall flavor.
Understaffed:
The entire restaurant only had two front-of-house staff members, including the host. This resulted in a slower service and a generally less attentive experience. :(
Lack of Promotion of Specials:
I wish the restaurant would do a better job of promoting their specials. For instance, they have a daily happy hour, which is awesome, but they only mention it when asked. Moreover, you have to sit by the bar to order the special. I feel that they should promote these specials more actively when customers walk in, rather than waiting for them to inquire.
One Highlight:
The only dish that I would recommend from this restaurant is the Bunuelos De Bacalao. It was the only thing that stood out to me during my visit.
Overall Impression:
I wouldn't return to this restaurant. The overall vibe just a little down in the restaurant

Wow! What an absolute gem! We turned up on a Tuesday evening and we're offered the only remaining table, right by the front door. Not always the greatest place to sit but it didn't matter a jot. The menu is overflowing with enough dishes to please every diet and palate. And every one we chose was delicious. The whole experience was taken to another level as it was Flamenco so we were treated to top class music and dance while we ate. We left wondering why we'd never visited before, and how soon we could come back!

Food, just imitation of original Spanish one. They are serving ready made Tapas, not instantly making one.

Food was great, but was it really worth $80?? I'd say $50, maybe $60. The rest is owner greed!
Lower your prices, you'll make more money (owner greed!)

I went here on earlier today, everyone was really nice. Belsie, Veronica and Alicia were the best. They were very welcoming and friendly. belsie answered all the questions I had about my food, I have a lot of allergies so they really took the time to tell me about everything that was in the foods I wanted to order. Alicia kept checking up on us to make sure we had all our food and that everything tasted good. Veronica had such a great attitude and she made sure we had our food on time. This was the best service experience I have ever had and I am really glad I came here. Will definitely be coming here again and tell all my friends about this.thank you Belsie, Alicia and Veronica you guys are the best
