The food was dreadful. A dish of what was described as sauteed beef and onions was a plate of pellets of beef with the consistency of shoe leather. I had ordered the same as takeout for my husband and tried to cancel his order after eating my own. However I was told it was too late. Unfortunately I was starving and ate most of the meal so had little recourse to refuse to take it. Even the Russian potato salad was dry and tasteless. I have eaten this all over Europe and Latin America and this was really bad My husband, who loves beef or all kinds, tried one of the pellets and tossed the whole thing out.

I'm re-reviewing this place. It's on point now and I encourage trying El Patio.
My last review had less stars because the service was horrible. The staff now is on point. The food is terrific. I like the melanesa, chorizo, empanadas and you can't really go wrong with other dishes. I've tried a lot. Never disliked my meal.
This is one of my go to places. Food wise, it always has been, but I didn't like to wait. Not it's outstanding food and service. The atmosphere is really chill too.
The deserts are really good too! Definitely try one and their coffee's pair very well with the deserts.

I have been having a CRAZY craving for tortillas espanolas and was so excited to see it on the menu. I ordered 2 but wish I had ordered 6 more for the week. My absolute favorite! So good.
Joseph was a great server! We ordered the parrillada de Buenos Aires and it had a great flavor. We loved the choripan, grilled skirt steak, ensalada rusa, and the agua de fresa. Would recommend giving it a try!
