We did carry out because the wait for a table was an hour. Probably one of the best chicken salad sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Fresh and huge.

I’m from NYC and weirdly, sandwiches are my #1 favorite food. The Le Pilgrim was quite possibly the best sandwich I’ve had in my life. My partner tried both the crab cake grilled cheese and the French dip and said they were amazing, but he agreed Le Pilgrim is the real standout.

I ate in the restaurant and then I had to come back a few days later to get it as a takeout order to eat on my Amtrak ride back home. It was equally delicious both times.

There are 2 main reasons Le Pilgrim is a masterpiece. First, of course the taste - it just has the perfect ratio of the best Thanksgiving ingredients. In my partner’s words, “it’s better than Thanksgiving.”

Second, the eating experience is shockingly clean for such a robust sandwich, and that just adds to the delight of it. When you eat it, it somehow stays quite compact and not a single ingredient will fall out onto the plate.

You might also expect it to be messy because of the gravy dip. But they actually mastered the consistency of the gravy. You can and should dip every bite in the delicious gravy, but the integrity of the bread remains and it doesn’t leave any mess at all.

I will dream about this sandwich until I can come back to the DMV…

Absolutely love this place. It is so chill and the food is absolutely outstanding. The onion rings are the best I've eaten. Everything is made in-house, except the bread. Kristen is so friendly and the staff is amazing.

This is the best sandwich restaurant I have ever been to. The food is very high quality and perfectly made. The chips and dipping sauce are amazing. Once you've had their club sandwich, no other club sandwich is good enough. Highly recommend.

So i been coming here for years I want to say since they opened & there probably thy best sandwich shop in the entire DMV today I ordered the le Pilgrim with honey old bay wings before that on previous visits I've ordered there crab cake grilled cheese sandwich A+++ a few times & there red white & blue sandwich u really can't go wrong with any of there sandos a bit pricey but worth it & the food is made fresh to order & staff super nice !!!

So this place is awesome. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful bartender that was kind and helpful without ever being overbearing. She would be the highlight, but the food is that good. Highlights included the amazing onion rings and the chipotle beef sandwich was a banger. Our bartender said everything was made in house, and it def tastes like it. Full stop recommend.

Excellent service and wonderful ambience ! The Reuben with their in-house made corned beef is on the short list of sandwiches I consider the Best! Bravo !!

These are definitely some of the best sandwiches you're going to find anywhere in this area. They have a great beer selection too.

We had dinner at the restaurant and the sandwiches we ordered were good. The onion soup was okay, but they had good house chips and other items. The service was good as well. I definitely recommend this place for good sandwiches.

Picked up some food to enjoy for a family picnic. Staff was very welcoming and friendly when I walked in the door. My favorite thing was the onion rings and my kids really enjoyed their tenders, grilled cheese and chips. The Chipotle chicken sandwich was pretty good but the Southwest
BLT was just ok in my opinion.

Not only food is good, but also the service I. Excellent too.
