We hired Gemma Gelato to cater dessert at our engagement party. Super cool Italian pozzetti gelato cart. We got to select 4 flavors of their all natural gelato for the event. We enjoyed working with Gemma team and they did a wonderful job. We also hired them for our wedding reception in February 2024. A big hit with everyone!

Gemma Gelato brought a vintage cart to our wedding reception in December. The Cart was adorable and the gelato delicious. My favorite was the mascarpone and strawberry. The server was friendly and the uniform cute. Gemma does not disappoint and I highly recommend them for a wedding or other special event. Professional and fun Company.

We had trepidations surrounding our decision to swap out cake for another dessert at our wedding. Little did we know it would be one of the best (and tastiest) decisions of our wedding reception! It didn’t take long for us to fall in love with Gemma Gelato’s flavors, customer service, and charming style. The vibe was perfect, bringing a piece of Italian village life to our wedding. And I can’t count how many people told us they had light-hearted conversations with Tiger – the owner who was catering our event. A picture of my bride and I munching on Gemma Gelato is now my phone background. Can’t recommend enough.

The Gelato is good but do not order through door dash or grub hub unless you want a random flavor...they substitute flavors without calling to check. And the apple pie crumble was not near as good as the coconut amore that I ordered.

Now this is what you call gelato! The gelato from this place is simply exquisite. I cannot recommend this place enough.Growing up, we always made our own ice cream and sorbet. I can always tell when someone takes the time to choose the right clean ingredients and creates a masterpiece.

OMG. The best ice cream or gelato anywhere. Fabulous. Chocolate strawberry blueberry, all the flavors I've tried are great. Very intense flavor. My favorite flavor is more.

I am very disappointed in the decline of this gelato. The mint stracciatella originally had a very minty taste with lots of dark chocolate chips. In the most recent version, the mint flavor is barely discernible and the chip content has been reduced by about 80%. This is also the case with the chocolate stracciatella. What used to be a superior product is now just average.

I picked up a pint of chocolate hazelnut from Rocklands Farm and it was fabulous. I love chocolate hazelnut anything and frequently get that flavor for ice cream and gelato, and this is among the best I've had (though I haven't gone to Italy so I can't compare to that). I am also thankful that it is not as sweet as other frozen creams, and lets the flavor and creaminess shine.

I have not got a chance to visit their place at the farmer's market, but I did buy a pint of the Italian Roasted Expresso flavor from Mom's (a grocery store). As someone who has always been searching for the best gelato (I have the say the best exists in Italy), especially those in coffee flavor, I have to say that I am very impressed! I hope they can come to the farmer's market in Arlington courthouse because I am sure more and more people will know their gelato. The pint is a bit pricey (around $11), but I really really enjoy their gelato and I don't mind paying for a bit more. I would recommend their gelato to anyone.
