I look forward to Grandma Vera's food truck every Wednesday at Amalyn Tripoint neighborhood. If I miss the truck, I go to the one Amalyn Tripoint neighborhood. If I miss the truck I go to Fernwood RD near Democracy Blvd. They have the best homemade soup and scones, and I love their juices.

I ordered a variety of items, all delicious, from the Potomac Village Farmer’s Market (9908 S. Glen Road, Potomac MD, Thursday 3-6). I had the brazilian fish stew and rice, empanadas-chorizio, spinach, and the mixed berry scones.

Only one of my three girls wanted to go to the Severna park farmers market with my today and it was the one who's name is Vera! It was so fun finding this, so of course we had to try something. I used my last cash for us to split an Apple turnover and it was AH-MAZ-ING

I was having a rough day a few Saturdays ago, and was searching all over Bethesda for a scone. Somehow, between the 6 coffee shops I stopped in, there was nary a scone to be had! Luckily, I wandered by their stand at the farmer's market the next day, and took home two of the best scones of my life. Can't imagine how I never thought to try them before. The juice is also top notch... I'll have to remember to head in early to snag some of the veg-friendly empanadas soon, too, because they always look so good!
