Grandma's Ice Cream and Waffles

I’d rate it 5 stars if I could (I’m just learning now that you can’t leave 5 stars unless it’s a fully vegan/vegetarian restaurant). Anyways we got the waffle breakfast sandwiches, chili baked potato, mac n cheese with breaded chicken and peppermint shake. The food and customer service was great, we will definitely be back! I love that they had multiple vegan cheese options for the delicious omelette I had, that their seasonal offerings (a pumpkin dessert waffle!) are veganized with in-house made toppings, and that the food was quick, fresh, and tasted amazing!

This was my husband’s and I's first time visiting this restaurant and we were blown away. There are so many amazing vegan options to choose from, both sweet and savory. I ordered the breaded chicken baked potato and he got the chicken Mac & cheese. But the real stars of the shows were the dessert waffles. I ordered the s’more’s dessert waffle & he ordered the Cookie Monster dessert waffle. Both were incredible. The vegan marshmallows were perfection! Both of the owners were there while we were, both were so incredibly sweet. One of them chatted with us for a bit, talking about how he started serving vegan food and how diligent he is about making sure every single little thing in the vegan dishes are truly vegan. He even warned me that the root beer had honey when I was going to order it. Incredible food, incredible owners. We will definitely be back!!

Stopped by for a simple waffle and ice cream scoop and was really surprised by how flavorful and high quality everything was! The ice cream was very rich and creamy, the waffle was crusty on the outside and completely fresh and fluffy inside. Service was great and everything was very clean. Overall an excellent pitstop!

Good atmosphere and quality food

Incredible vegan food, so many options it's hard to choose! Grandma is so sweet and kind. Very thorough during the ordering process and we got exactly what we ordered. Tried the veggie wrap, Mac n cheese, tater tots and a PBJ Waffle sundae. Everything was delicious. I can't wait to visit again. My daughter is obsessed with the big giant waffle outside.

Insane soft serve. Some of the creamiest and softest ice creme I've ever had. It was melt resistant and just heaven. Good lord has this set the bar high

A grandma would feed you bigger portions.

A few things I noticed:
The fries weren't crispy. They were noodly. The fries were put into a plastic container and not fried until crispy. Plastic containers don't allow for moisture to escape. Wet fries are the result.

Same goes for the chicken tenders. Not crispy as they got wet from the plastic to-go containers.

The size of the waffle was unexpectedly small. The waffle presented was the size of a square Eggo but thicker.

Overall, they need to work out some kinks and they could be much more satisfying.

This place felt a bit out of the way in an industrial shopping center. There are a ton of sweet and savory vegan options that are clearly marked, as well as 3 vegan ice cream options. I got the chicken and waffles. The chicken did feel like it it came out of a box in the freezer. The waffles were sweet, and totally adequate. It wasn't an overly filling meal. We also got the veggie wrap, which had a lot more flavor. The vegan vanilla bean ice cream was quite good, but the person at the cash register was very confused by my request for a vegan waffle cone, which is listed on the menu. I had the shredded chicken wrap. The chicken was nice and fresh pulled chicken. Probably the best wrap I've had in a long time. My mom had vegan ice cream and really enjoyed it too. The people here were friendly and made it a pleasurable first visit. We'll definitely be back!
