My husband and I Ordered two Kubideh orders hoping that we would get two Kabobs each with the amount of rice and Salad that were given. One Kubideh finished very quickly and we were left with a lot of rice and Salad. The chickpea could be little more flavorful. The mango juice was very tasty.

came here with a few friends and we ordered the chicken platter, beef kobeeda platter, and gyro wrap - everything was delicious! the green hot sauce and white sauce compliment the food perfectly. the service is great and the food came out quickly. cannot recommended enough!

We had a wonderful lunch at Grill Kabab! The food was absolutely delicious — we ordered the Chicken Platter and it was perfectly grilled, tender, and full of flavor. The rice was fluffy, the sides were fresh, and the portion was very generous.
The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Even though the staff didn’t explain the menu, everything was easy to figure out, and the quality of the food spoke for itself.
Service was fast and friendly, and the overall experience was great. If you’re looking for tasty, well-prepared kababs and a satisfying lunch spot, I highly recommend Grill Kabab!

Grill Kabob in Rockville absolutely nailed it — this is the first Afghan restaurant where every bite tasted exactly like my mom’s cooking. From the spices to the tenderness of the meat, it’s clear they don’t cut corners on authenticity.
I had the Koobideh kabob, and my wife went with the chicken and steak combo. All three were spot on — flavorful, juicy, and perfectly grilled. The place itself is immaculately clean, and you can tell Ali takes pride in keeping the kitchen and dining area in top shape.
Only critique: the Koobideh portion felt a bit small for the $15.99 price point. That said, the quality more than made up for it. We’ll be back — this place sets the bar for Afghan food in the DMV.

The vibe of the place is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. It’s the kind of spot you want to keep coming back to. Honestly, some of the best kabobs I’ve ever had!
