I've eaten Filipino pastries my entire life and Gwenies is one of the best Filipino bakeries ever. Their ube cheesecake is the best I've ever had. Filipinos have high standards for ube and the cheesecake is rich with ube flavor. I also love their cakes, donuts and ube bread. We are fortunate to have such a great Filipino bakery in our community.

I love Gwenie’s pastries! My brother buys it all the time and finally I had the chance to visit one of their locations. I have never tried something I didn’t like from there. Love love love all their goodies! Highly recommend. Not to mention staff are so friendly! The Rockville location is small and in industrial area. Easy to find and parking is easy.
