When we first inquired about the possibility of catering, we were able to go to the store and try an amazing dessert sample box with some options. Tucked away and a little tricky to find -- but so worth the hunt. The pastries are buttery, flaky perfection that taste like they were made with love (and probably a little magic). Gwenie's = hidden gem status unlocked.

After hearing so much about Gwenie’s Pastries, I finally made it over—and I’m glad I did. I was able to try the ube cheesecake, and let me tell you... it lived up to every bit of the hype. Smooth, rich, and not overly sweet, with that perfect ube flavor that balances earthiness and creaminess. The coconut graham crust? A whole moment by itself.

Big shoutout to Lani, who helped me out—welcoming, kind, and clearly...
