Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken

Clean, bright, and good vibes all around. A great spot to chill and enjoy some spicy food. Laid-back atmosphere with good music and a welcoming feel. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy—easily some of the best Nashville-style hot chicken I’ve had!

I’ve had more hangry joes since I’ve moved out east than any other restaurant, my family and I *love* it. Biggest caveat, which is one of their strengths, is that the restaurant makes everything fresh… The spice levels have been variable at the five or six different ones I’ve been to! I only get mild, it sometimes the mild is too spicy. Then I’ll ask for “no heat” and it will be completely unseasoned…. If I could just find some consistency in their mild, I’d be good to go. LOL So far my favorite location has been crystal city around the pentagon shops. They always add ranch, and the cook is impeccable!

I was in your store in Bixby, OK tonight. I was charged over $50 for three cold meals and one we never received. It took nearly 45 minutes to receive the cold food. Two of the cold meals weren’t edible. We never received the fourth meal. I demanded a refund, but upon review of the receipt, I was only refunded $14.53. What kind of operation are you running? Ridiculous. I want a full refund. With whom do I speak to get a full refund?

I really like the chicken from here, it's tasty. HOWEVER, I came here today to order the loaded fries, and I got like 90% chicken and 10% fries. This might sound great, but part of the reason I love this place is for the fries, and when they skimp me on them in an order of LOADED FRIES, and buying an extra side of fries is $4.50, I feel like I've got to say something. PLEASE give me more fries in the loaded fries!

First off , the food from here is terrible, Simple. it’s not hangry joes themselves but the people that make the food in the kitchen, all they do is drench their chicken in paprika NOTHING ELSE. The mac and cheese?? ?‍♂️horrible just horrible I ate one bite and threw it away it’s like they bought a microwavable mac and cheese and served it to me holy. I can’t. Never coming back I recommend everyone reading this to AVOID THIS AT ALL TIMES and just go to the Montgomery village one. NOW THOSE PEOPLE CAN COOK they made me fall in love with the food Mac and cheese is to die for and chicken is so good and seasoned perfectly unlike this one please if you guys hate the food or think it’s good for some reason at this location just go to MV you won’t regret it and I have nothing but good things to say about them. this one, no.

Great halal spot. I got mild on my tenders and Sando and it was still pretty spicy. Really loved the food. Missing one star because the portions for the price feels a little low.

AMAZING!!! I don't have a picture because once my husband and I bit into the food it was GONE! IT WAS BEYOND DELICIOUS!!!! It was the best chicken and waffles I have ever had in my entire life. 100000000/10 recommend the chicken and waffles.

Hangry Joe's is another fried chicken joint. Mostly chicken fingers but you can also get a "sando" or sandwich (I learn new lingo everyday). Basically fingers and fries. These are different fingers though -- the breading I believe has a sort of Korean-ish taste to it, with varying degrees of heat from none to volcano. Not my favorite but I won't downgrade a rating just because I personally don't like the flavors. It is good. My buddy loves it.

One huge plus -- these are all cooked to-order so it was amazingly fresh --- and HOT. We actually had to sit back and stare at our food for a couple of minute before we could eat to let it cool down a bit.

We ordered at a small kiosk and in a few minutes the waitstaff brought our food.

This place is great if you like chicken fingers with a different flair. I don't know if I'll go again, but I know my buddy will.

Parking: Big parking right off of the Pike. Easy to find spots.

The service at this restaurant was extremely slow and the food was cold when it finally arrived. The staff seemed disinterested and unprofessional. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.
