So good. Staff is really friendly. Great chicken, fries, milkshakes.. everything I've tried is great. Very large portions you def get your moneys worth.
If you're sensitive to heat I'd def stick with no heat. The medium is pretty hot and the hot is hot. The mild has a nice amount of tame heat if you want just a little kick.

Went to order online and decided to order directly from the website to pickup. Option was listed as the restaurant's preference. They charged my card with tip paid in advance. I arrive 15 minutes later to be told by staff that the system is old and they need to make my food from scratch right then but it will take 5 minutes.

17 minutes later I am still waiting. Yikes! Food is good but beware of ordering online.

The food was ok, somewhat crispy but also somewhat soggy with too much sauce. Frustratingly, when I ordered online they ga e a scheduled pickup time in 15 minutes, but then the food was not ready for another 10 minutes after I arrived even though the store was not busy. Worse, they then shortchanged me on my order and did not give me the side of fries that I had paid for.

July 19, 2025 - the chicken is gross, tough meat and waffle fries are obviously cooked in old grease. The atmosphere is terrible, music is blasting. Neither of us finished our food, left after wasting $25. The positive reviews are fake.

It’s tooooooo salty!!! I tried the wings and Sando. The saltiness overpowered the spiciness, especially the wings! I think I won’t order again

Came here with the family to check it out. The inside of the restaurant was nice with lots of seating. The folks behind the counter were nice and went over the heat levels since it was our first time. It took a little while for the food because they make it to order. I got a Chicken Sando + fries. The fries were very good. But I did not care for the chicken in the sandwich. The chicken was tender and juicy but they used a dry rub (or dry spice mix) that resulted in a slightly gritty taste. I ended up not finishing the sandwich because of this. I did not realize at the time they had both dry rub and wet sauces. If I ever go back I will get one of the wet sauces. Overall my experience was ok but willing to give it another try.

I have become a fan of Hangry Joe’s. It has become my favorite go-to place in the area for chicken wings. I always order the mild & medium spiced wings, never disappointed. Just love coming back to this place !

Fantastic, delightful, any other positive word you can think of. Having been to maybe 15 chicken spots in a 50 mile radius this is easily the best. Why? From the moment you walk in and are greeted with great service, the ordering process is easy and straightforward. The fountain drinks were delightful. Usually fountain drinks have zero taste or are flat. But not here. For some reason they are super flavorful like its out of a can or something.

The food obviously is the highlight. It comes out quicker than expected. The fries super crispy and exceeded my expectations. Amazing sauce options. And of course. The chicken is legit perfect. No disgusting gristle or weirdness the tenders are real chicken and the texture is just right. The best thing for me was the slaw. Absolutely perfect. Best coleslaw/koream slaw i can remember trying. We tried several items and sauces and couldn't decide which was the best. Because they were all equally delightful.

The only thing to say. Which is not a negative. Is the spice level. MILD is relatively spicy. It was perfect. But I cannot imagine getting their most spicy. It must be insanely hot. So just be aware that mild or below is a safe bet. And above that you better prepare to breathe fire.

My son has become a real fan of this chain. Often seeking out new stores wherever we wander.

Today we were down in Rockville and he checked the GPS for closest Hangry Joe's.

Found this location just a mile away. Parked right out front and noticed it had outdoor seating too. The inside is clean well lit and very spacious. The soda machine is well maintained as well.

Used the large tablet to order. Food came up quickly and correctly. My loaded fries chicken was one of the better ones I have had. Ryan enjoyed his chicken strips. And my request for extra jalapenos was clearly honored.

Would definitely recommend if you are in the mood, or the area.

I’m from Texas and here for work I was looking for something different and this was it! The service was great and the food is different in a good way. I will definitely be back. Enough food for lunch and dinner.
