I love going to Hank Dietle's! Great atmosphere, amazing people! Every band I've seen here is spectacular! Can't beat the $6 mimosas on Sundays either! I hear The Moran Tripp Band is playing the first Sunday in August. I'll be there!
Fantastic
A GREAT Music Venue
Groovy music, attentive staff, friendly community.
Great little place. Fabulous service and great neighborhood bar atmosphere. Live band on Thursday when we visited. Only detractors is small parking lot, but worth a visit!!
Excellent vibes, great bands, dancing, beer. Can’t wait to go back
Came for the first time yesterday and enjoyed relaxing with some local music after work! They have a good selection of drinks, including non-alcoholic options. I really enjoyed the hummus with bread knots. It seems like there are a lot of regulars, but I didn’t feel out of place at all. Looking forward to going back!
Small venue, great local and touring music, and the people are always great.
Mondays music was phenomenal!!
Cozy little venue with simple food menu, quite enjoyable.
Awesome live music venue!
Limited drink options :(
But awesome live music venue!

It's the best place to listen to live music in DC.
Do you want to rub elbows with the locals? This is the place.
This local watering hole is a center for musicians playing just about every night of the week. Many of the musicians are actually quite good. The variety of music played draws all kinds of people.
The place is small, so get there early and grab a chair that probably doesn't match any other chair in the joint. There are a few tables and plenty of chairs scattered around the room.
Beer and wine are served along with simple food to snack on as you listen to great music.
Check the website for their music calendar, then go and have a drink to listen to some great music. You might even be tempted to get up and dance. Yes, there is a dance floor that sometimes gets pretty crowded with some very good dancers.
I always make it a point to stop by on their Blues and swing night of music when visiting from California.
I experienced blatant racism and bullying on 10/14/24 at Wolf’s open blues Jam. Wolf harassed me and insulted me to my face. He was extremely dehumanizing and was using profanities. Nobody in the establishment did anything about it. In fact the only thing I was told is just told to “not take it there” regarding the racism. I am disgusted to be seeing open racism and discrimination and bullying in 2024 in my local music scene. I want this issue to be addressed because ignoring it is enabling it. I should be able to play in my local scene and not feel external pressure and negativity from the people that are running the event.
I addressed this issue with the owners and they did nothing about it. Which to me is sad because they are aware of the racism I experienced and either don’t care or are enabling it. Either way, my band and I will never perform at this establishment ever again.

Love the music. Just wish we lived closer.
