this has become our go-to kbbq spot. the food and staff are great!

We dined in and then ordered the galbi, tofu soup, and the cold noodles. The noodles were good but the portion was not good for the galbi.

I saw other pictures online of the galbi portion when it was raw, but they cooked it in the back for us and then gave us a single plate but 2 bones that had full on fat attached to them so it was not edible. I was really disappointed and I genuinely feel like we did not get $45 worth of galbi, I think maybe we got $22 with the markup.

They did not refill the banchan. The service was not very friendly, the server was quite curt and rushed us.

I picked up 3 orders of dinner from Hwa Gae Jan Tuh today and they did such a lousy job for packaging the food. When I got home and opened them, they all were leaked. I decided to call them to let them know what happened and advise them to do better on packaging next time. However, their response was instead of being sorry for what have happened, but to blame at me for not being careful carrying the food home. Not only their service was terrible, the person who answered the phone was even worse. For the Food itself, I give one star as well because it has too much MSG taste. I regret that I paid over $60 for these crappy food and service.

I came here today and ordered Tang Su Yuk. I asked the lady over the phone if rice comes with it she said no. You have to pay extra for it. Other restaurant comes with a rice with entree. I ordered my food for to go. It's unfortunate because I paid 25.00 for just tang su yuk. Usually Korean restaurants pack Ban Chan with your order it was nothing. I go to Wa Ja Jang from now. The sauce was watery too. It wasn't good :(

Best Korean BBQ I've had in the DMV. I've been to places like Firepan before that are much more westernized, but this felt like a very korean place. Interior is very no-frills, hole-in-the-wall, but it's everything you need it to be. The menu is as you might expect - although there are some nice options like Joomulluck that you might not see in other places - but the quality of the meat is so good. We had our server cook for us and she did a fantastic job. All the sides were very good too, particularly the kimchi. I'll definitely be back!

I used to come to this Korean restaurant quite often, but after today's experience, I won't be coming back . We ordered the Galbi, Which was incredibly disappointing. It was extremely tough and difficult to eat. for nearly $50 for just one portion, it is unacceptable.
I even told the staff that the Galbi was inedible, but she said nothing.The service was just as bad as the food.Honestly, this place has gone downhill. I'm writing this so others are aware- It's not worh the money or the experience anymore. Very bad food, very bad service. Stay away.

I almost never post any surveys because i also work in the industry and understand how hard this job is. I do my best to give grace but occasionally something is really just wrong.
I came here to have cold noodles and half way thru eating i find a fruit fly in my noodle. Its not big, i got it. I let the ladies know, they look at it; and told me “maybe you are eating then it fall in”. ????????? What type of service is that???? I didnt ask for refund or replacement, i just want you to know there is bug in my food! I paid in full and left. Never coming again.

Very unprofessional and rude and especially too DIRTY....
If you brought out the wrong food, try at least to be sorry but they asked us to eat whatever came out wrong and when we declined they brought us some other dish that seemed like they made the food from left over from other dishes. Kimchi had some hair in it and the fish was unchewable.... Never ever going back.

They have really tasty options for vegetarians. You can ask the server to make the Tteok-bokki without fishcakes (comes with an egg/ this is my fav!!) and veggie pancakes . There are other options that are really really good

Excellent Cold Noodles. Banchan is well done. Almost everything we tried was really well done. Yuk gae Jang is also excellent. I totally recommend

Good atmosphere, very korean looks and vibe. But the service was not good. Keep yelling and shouting at us. Barely any service and very rude.

This place was amazing. Their sides were very good. Food serving size and taste were also good. Their staff doesnt speak a lot of english so if its your first time eating kbbq you might have some trouble. But everything was good when we ate here. Definitely coming back

They were blaring Fox News, the spilled water all over my friends and did not apologize and the food was OK, not great

Really authentic Korean cuisines, they have huge menu selections, BBQ and other dishes. It came with lots of delicious cold appetizers! They even have the special marinade raw crab, absolutely delicious, just have to prepare some probiotics afterwards.
