The restaurant has moved to to a new location inside supermarket Ranch 99 in Gaithersburg. I picked up a medium "Special Combo Roll" sushi platter there for a party, great value and presentation! Ingredients are fresh and there is a lot of varieties to choose from. The owner and his wife are super nice. I have ordered from them for the past few years and the quality of their food is consistent. Definitely my first choice for take out if I need to order any sushi for a party. Your guests will not be disappointed.

I’m a huge fan of sushi. After trying many places in Rockville, I’ve finally found my spot. My favorites are the California Rolls and Shrimp Tempora/Avocado Rolls. These rolls are personally my favorite. The best part while eating are dumping the rolls in the soy sauce, picked ginger and wasabi mixture. Also the chicken teriyaki with rice and seaweed salad is my favorite too. Always fresh and delicious! Thanks!!

I got three rolls for takeout and all of them were great. The price was also great. This place is inside of New York Mart if you have a hard time finding it. Will be coming again.

I have been ordering sushi exclusively from them since I found this place. Best quality and price.

I ordered Chinese broccoli and they gave me over cooked lettuce I got sick from their shrimp tempura and I am filing a court order to shut them down.

Came here only because they were open before other places were.... Will never come again. All of the fish tasted like it had been frozen for a while and the Ikura (salmon roe) was disgusting. I order salmon roe from all different sushi places and have never had it look white like this and it also tasted horrible. Not sure if it's because it was frozen like everything else or if it's because it was really old.... And to top it all off they're more expensive then other sushi places and then all you get is old, nasty, not fresh sushi. Bleck!

Absolutely delicious! I got the tuna roll and California roll and was very impressed. Was a little skeptical because it only cost $7.35. But it was fresh and a day later still as good. Definitely worth the money. The owners are also incredibly nice. I didn't understand how the store worked at the beginning so I took the food thinking that I could pay with the rest of my items. Not realizing that I need to pay them directly. They were incredibly gracious about my mistake, and I was really impressed by them. I will definitely be back. Even though I live 20 miles away.

I bought a B platter 2 days ago and I loved it! I would recommend the B platter because it’s cheap and it tastes amazing!

I really like their dishes. I always get good service there. The place is well organised and the employees are always very kind. Will come visit again.

I got the smoked eel with rice. Quality is good, but seating is very uncomfortable and not clean, with flies common. It's about what you can expect from a supermarket eating area. Would recommend carrying out.

In the food court at New York Market. I think the only thing my stomach can handle here is the California roll. They've got a full nigiri/sashimi menu though. Tried the shrimp tempura out of the bowl of seafood udon soup. I've had better. Pricing is decent though. I think it's 2 rolls for $7.50. The seafood udon was about $12.

Really good sushi. I like to get the dragon roll, which is absolutely tasty. They are pretty nice as well, and they dont try to force sell you anything which is cool.

Like another Yelper (Vincent), I too am disappointed by their large chirashi which is priced around $17 - $18 after tax. The large chirashi comes with 2 pieces of tuna, 2 pieces of salmon, 3 pieces of white fish, 2 pieces of mackerel, 1 piece of boiled shrimp, pitiful amount of flying fish roe, rice, and seaweed salad. Tuna, salmon (no fat), and shrimp were all below average quality. The mackerel had a strange taste while the white fish was decent. Overall, it's a supermarket quality sushi (i.e., Safeway). If you are looking for California rolls, they would do. However, if you are looking for sashimi, don't come here.
